Easy to install, sound quality is great for such a small pick up. Very impressed and doesn't get in the way of playing

Easy to fit, you have to slacken the strings right off to get it under the ties. I ditched the supplied lead, it's cheap quality and not suitable for the job. I replaced it with a 12" long quality 3.5 to 6.35 jack socket lead and gaffer taped it to the body of the uke. I also cut a piece of cork to fit snugly under the body of the pickup - this seems to eliminate the possibility of it snapping off by accident.If you keep the lead of out of the way it doesn't make interfering noises. I've plugged it into my Vox Valvetronix amp and I'm well pleased with the sound quality. A great (and cheap) way to amp up your uke. I dropped a star because of the cheapo supplied lead.*postcript* Second photo is Mk2 with a more permanent fixture for the ¼ " socket made from a tin can lid and leather.

I have amplified many acoustic instruments. Guitar, double bass and violin. This is a very good natural sounding pick at a very good price. I have paid many times the price for other pickups that didn’t sound as good. Also very easy to fit.

Great sound for the price! The quality of sound w/this pickup is unbeatable, like other reviewers I too think the end bit that sticks out would be much better if it faced down and not up, but other than that top quality output and easy to install w/no damage to instrument. Will be buying KNA product again for my guitar. Lead isn’t the greatest but not awful either. Well worth the purchase!

Installed the pickup within 5 minutes of it arriving at my door. Extremely straight forward process. My Romanian 3/4 size double bass needed just two of the extra shims to fit snuggly in the left wing of the bridge.The jack input attaches to the ailpiece very effectively as well. The sound is just what I expected for the price and can really shine with the correct preamp and speaker.I’m very happy that it can easily be removed and is not too obvious.

Not a bad idea, but a few flaws that let it down.The sound is remarkably good when fitted. Very piezo, but a bit of work on the EQ can make it sound more natural. I have some other issues though1. The unit is really going to be easy to break - they should have designed the bit you plug the cable into to face down not up. Pressure on this part will snap it2. The supplied connection cable is cheap and nasty (plus only guaranteeed for 30 days!). it creates a ton of noise a good 2 foot down its length if you so much as touch it - this is because it is unshielded. Far better would have been a shorter cable with a female ¼ socket so you could plug your own cable in3. It also picks up masses of body noiseI wanted to like it more, but those issues rule it out for me. And don't see it lasting long for a gigging musician. Good in a pinch I suppose

Works well with an amp but violin sound not optimum when there’s something stuck in the bridge dampening the projection - but that’s what I signed up for buying this product and it works well when using with a band

Double bass pickup, very small device, easy to install and plug the amplifier cable, it works perfectly and brings a lot of power to the bass sound.

You would have to look twice to realize it is a mounted pickup. Very sensitive and requires very little volume on the amp.

Small, powerful acoustic mic for string instruments. I bought this for an Indian classical instrument called Veena. It works very well.
