For the price, these pastels are an excellent bargain. They hold together well, are easy to use and blend well with colors. While not as good as Jack Richeson or other higher priced pastels, they are an excellent substitute for budget conscious students or professionals to use as prep work.

Vibrant color variety

Being new to soft pastels, I didn't want to break the bank on supplies. At the same time, didn't want to struggle with inferior materials. These pastels fit my need exactly. They arrived in perfect condition in a sturdy box with plenty of foam. On using with my first pic, "bear witness" I found them smooth, bright, and easy to apply. I painted a beverage on stretched canvas and they layered better than expected. "taco tuesday" is on mixed media paper and these pastels performed nicely. Again, as I'm learning this new medium, Artecho pastels have entirely met my needs.

As a homeschooler, the Artecho Soft Pastels set has been a fantastic addition to our art supplies. The 48 vibrant colors, including 4 fluorescent shades, allow for endless creativity and experimentation. These pastels blend beautifully, making it easy to create smooth gradients and intricate details. I absolutely love the vibrancy of and range of colors. They are pretty soft for its category. They blend well. I doodled a quick sunflower to see how they layer and blend just with my fingers. They do not release much dust and as an asthmatic, I really appreciate that. Also you can work neater with them bc it retains its pigment (aka- minimum to no dust release). I highly recommend for beginners, students, and even a blooming artist working towards professional bc you can get a lot of practicing mileage out of this set. They are packaged so well none came broken. They are a pretty sturdy and robust soft pastel stick. I was pleasantly surprised. Also, they are not chalky like so many in this price point are. These really should be flying off the shelves.

Having fun with these, very bold color, pretty consistent color result, not too crumbly.

Tampoco es que sean muy económicas que digamos pero se supone que son de calidad profesional. Yo las uso para hacer cuadros con técnica mixta de grafito cera y tiza y quedan muy bien. No ensucian ni manchan mucho. Mi recomendación es que si son para niños por el precio no merece la pena pero si es para uso de adultos están muy bien. Es una buena marca y tiene durabilidad en el tiempo una vez terminado el trabajo. Pigmentan muy bien entre sí y mezclan muy bien para hacer paisajes son geniales para difuminar. El envío rápido como siempre en Amazon sin problema, pero no me gusto como venían embaladas ya que es un producto frágil que parte con facilidad y venían con una bolsita de papel envueltas, me extraño porque Amazon normalmente usa caja de cartón pero esta vez han venido con una bolsa de papel muy frágil, es la única pega que tengo por lo demás todo bien. Por suerte no vino ninguna rota pero tener en cuenta que las envían bastante desprotegidas

These are very good value for the price. There are multiple colours and the texture is fine. They are chalk based I believe, so leave a bit of dust. For use in drawings, this is useful as you can gently brush the paper to smooth the colours. This gives a very pleasing effect.

Als erstes muss ich sagen das diese Kreide für diesen Preis absolut Spitze sind. Sehr weich, herrliche Farben.Die Verpackung ist sehr edel und sehr stabil. Im Karton sind 2 Lagen jeweils in einer stabilen Schachtel mit jeweils einer wirklich dicken Schutzmatte drauf. Jede Lage hat noch mal 3 einzeln entnehmbare Schachteln.An den beiden separaten Paletten sind stabile Plastiklaschen zum herausnehmen.Soweit ist allesabsolut gut.Was mir nicht so gefällt ist der Umstand das die einzelnen Kreiden keine Banderole drum haben. Diese würde den Kreiden mehr Stabilität geben und die Bruchsicherheit wäre besser. Außerdem hat man schon beim Herausnehmen der Kreiden die Finger voller Farbe und man muss aufpassen wo man hinfasst :)Aber wie schon gesagt, bei dem Preis ist das auch ok, die Vorteile überwiegen.Verpackung und Versand waren gut und schnell und es war auch nichts kaputt. Ich kann diese Kreiden wirklich empfehlen, für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene.NACHTRAG : Nach dem ersten Benutzen muss ich sagen, sie sind sehr empfindlich, brechen und Brösel sehr schnell. Also bitte wie rohe Eier behandeln :)
