This is an adorable painting, especially if you're a cat lover. It's also quite expensive for a project kit. As is often the case, I'm quite skeptical about the amount of paint included. You'll have to be really cautious about the amount of paint and keeping the lids on when not using a particular color to minimize the amount of paint that dries out so you have enough to make it through the project.

This paint-by-number set comes with the printed canvas which will eventually need to be mounted on a wooden frame. The canvas is excellent quality. The 24 paints are vacuum sealed, so they're fresh, and they're beautifully vibrant. Three paint brushes and hardware to mount the canvas are included along with a printout of all the numbers and a smaller, glossy photo of the original design. That will make it easier to check colors if I accidentally cover up a number with a smudge. This kit uses only the included colors - no mixing to get more colors. I'll keep the box until I've finished because it has instructions on the back for some of the techniques to apply when painting. This is a very affordable, quality paint by number kit!
