A little goes a long way having used it on both of our dogs over the last week.Does it work?We have a Jack Russell Corgi cross who has always had sensitive skin. She needs constant brushing and care to stop her itching. We regularly de flea her and the house but this year the hot summer has really caused her a lot of irritation. When it gets very hot she gets into the pond and comes in stinking but happy!We have used this shampoo twice on her and we have noticed a general reduction in her skin redness, flaky skin and constant itching, in fact she hardly ever scratches now unless she has done her usual rolling in the garden or worse (if you have a dog you will know what I mean). We live on a small holding so she has plenty of opportunity to pick up smells and bugs but this shampoo sorts the problem out with one wash. There is no problem doing this as the ingredients are natural and unlike many vet shampoos have no side effects. We really like this shampoo and it does work without potentially harmful chemicals.The lavender content has calmed the Jack Russell in her down and she is sleeping better because of it, no more emergency rushing to the door at 3 am because she heard a noise, we are sleeping better to !Overall.It may be expensive compared to other brands but it is kind to the dog and does work. We have washed both our dogs in it now and they actually smell nice and it has reduced itching by a marked amount. I would highly recommend this shampoo for your dog.

I got this to use on my TIbetan Terriers, a long haired breed, who suffer seasonal skin irritations. As I live in forest land, they are also prone to ticks, mites and other insects, and often suffer yeast/fungal issues between toes and under ear flaps.I wanted a gentle, natural but effective shampoo that would also care for their longer hair. Cooper and Gracie came to the rescue with everything I wanted in one shampoo - anti-itch, anti-fungal, anti-insect, whilst smelling pleasant and not overwhelming, and leaving the coat conditioned and de-tangled. My dogs seem to like it, and there is no doubt it does calm itching and make them more comfortable. Bathing 2-3 times a week cured them of a grass-mite infestation that nothing else was getting rid of!My one gripe is that the shampoo is VERY thick. Instructions say there’s no need to dilute but I found it difficult to work it through the whole coat like this, so I diluted about 30/70 (shampoo/water). With a short/fine coated breed you could use undiluted or dilute with less water.I would also prefer a plunge/pump top or squeeze-top to the bottle to make it easier to dispense - just pouring it out when your hands are wet and the dog is maybe wriggling is not at all easy!The finished dog smells clean and fresh, but not covered with artificial scent. The coat is bouncy, soft and free-flowing. An excellent shampoo/conditioner!

Good product but please change how the liquid comes out of the bottle - a squeeze bottle would help regulate liquid delivery

I had tried another shampoo for itchy dogs but noticed very little difference. As advised by my vet I have used this twice a week for 2 weeks now and its lovely and silky and smells nice. My dog has been so much calmer and less scratching in the night. I have changed food and got anti allergy treats too. Very pleased with this and will use it on a regular basis.

Mild smelling formula, which is great. It seems to suit my dog who has dermatitis and skin allergies which make him very itchy.Unfortunately, the product has the consistency of water and I find it quite hard to wash him with it since it just seems to run out of the bottle like water from a tap.Also the fact that it does not foam up means it's quite hard to see which part of my dog I've washed and which I haven't, so I feel like I'm using far more than necessary just to be sure I've definitely washed him thoroughly. (I am aware the formula is 'low foam', but honestly it's more like non-existent. It feels like washing him with mild smelling water).Other than that, it seems to suit my boxer dog's skin well, but he is on medication too, so I can't say the decrease in itching and dermatitis is down to the shampoo. I will use the bottle I purchased, but I think I will try another brand next time.

Does what it says and smells good.

I have a GSD with sensitive skin, who loves water but not bath time :) This cleaned her coat and the hair is soft and it calmed her itching down. Very pleased with the product and will purchase it again
