has some cool build ideas but has some outdated comands
Some of the commands that it suggests you use are outdated and no longer work but overall it is a fun book and is great because it provides education and allows the kids to play while doing it

Perfect for a minecraft fan, very engaging.I like the mix of excercises and varying difficulty of puzzles, see photo for example.Everything is set out well and is easy to follow, would be good for adults interested in learning computing as well.

Great educational book hidden by Minecraft!
Our 8-10 year olds liked this book, the fact it was Minecraft themed made it a big win.From a parents side having a theme like this really helps to get them to do educational stuff away from school.

Fun and decent workbook but bit basic
MY kids love both mincraft and coding, so got this for them to work through on a rainy day. Well printed, well laid out - all makes sense. Is quite basic in terms of coding tasks and reading level (says 7-11 but I would say maybe 7-9) - so it is a decent book but not as in depth as they might like, more like a colouring activity book with added minecraft tasks.
