The knots should be tied using a overhanded monkey fist knot. (See YouTube for the proper knot technique) This is only effective if your arrows are fletched using a right helix with a 3” vane. 2” vanes can easily get caught between the wool webing. If this is too complicated. Just find some other means of cordage to rig it to your pack :-) it should work just fine **Q: Can I attached this to my umarex air javelin?** A: Truglo Tuff-Lok Quiver will fit your Umarex AirJavelin Rifle I purchased this Tuff-Lok quiver by Truglo thinking that it would be a perfect fit onto my Umarex AirJavelin rifle. Once it arrived, I noticed the rail attachment of the Truglo quiver only had screws and there were no holes found anywhere on the barrel casing, just long open slots. I'm still a novice at knowing all the types of attachments and ways to attach to rails or open slots. I was confused about what to do with the quiver. Another purchaser by the name Carol pointed out with photos how he attached the Truglo quiver and it looked amazing! What was missing according to Caroll were M-Lok T-nuts. Now, why would Truglo sell a quiver with just screw on bolts and not provide the M-Lok T-nuts or mention that you would need them in certain applications? Bad on their part because I had to look for the M-Lok nuts on Amazon and found them, Braudel brand (10) M-Lok T-nuts with (10) bolts for $7.59. I did not use the original bolts of the Truglo quiver but used the new ones that came with the M-Lok T-nuts. Perfect fit and I had the quiver installed in one minute! The Truglo Tuff-Lok Quiver is perfect and very light because I added the 4 arrows into it and I do not feel a difference in weight onto the air rifle! Truglo please add in the M-Lok T-nuts so people don't go crazy and it will give your company more customers! **Q: Will this mount to a True Glow Archers choice sight?** A: yes. I have one mounted to a True Glow Archers Choice Range Rover Pro **Q: Will this fit a Barnett quad 400 crossbow ?** A: Generally, if your bow/crossbow has quiver mounting points, anybody's quiver will fit. So yes, it should fit fine, and retain your quarrels nicely. It's a Barnett, it has standard mounting points for whatever gadgetry you'd stick on a crossbow, at worst you might have to move a Picatinny rail.
