Absolutely beautiful and soft! I was looking for something comparable to the blankets I have had for 20 years. I could not find anything that seemed as nice. I finally found it! I am going to look for other colors and patterns. This is incredibly soft and it is thick. It actually has weight to it. It came in a pretty large box. I expected it to be compressed into a bag, but it was not. It's like the blankets that we used to get at the swap meet. I have been trying to find them for a while now. So glad I purchased this! Beautiful quality. would not regret it!

This blanket is a really good blanket, but it took a little bit to get it to that point. I enjoy how soft and heavy it is, it has stayed soft with regular washing, so one star for that. It measures accurately to the description too, so it gets one star for that. It isn't like some Faux Minx blankets where the soft part is where the design is and you need to sacrifice comfort over looks, so that is another star just for that alone. The last star it receives is the quality of the print, it looks a bit fuzzy if you are right next to it, but from a few feet away it looks perfect. The only reason I docked it one star is the chemical residue leftover from the factory. I was having trouble figuring out why I was having contact dermatitis, and once I finally figured this blanket was the cause I had to rewash all my bedding and the blanket in a liberal amount of white vinegar on the high heat cycle to rinse all the chemicals off. It was annoying and surprising to me that the chemicals survived 3 previous washings on the warm cycle, but the vinegar did the trick and it has become a very relaxing blanket. Overall, the design, material, description, and quality all get my approval, and I hope that like my last Faux Minx blanket this one will last another 12 years.

I kept this for a couple of months before writing this review,beautiful blanket very heavy weight to it I use for camp great for cooler weather,and is such a beautiful blanket overall!!

My wife hates the look of this thing but I love it. She calls it my viking blanket. Super comfortable and just the right amount of heat in the winter months.

My son grew up with one like this but gave it up to someone who needed one, so I was happy to replace it as it was his favourite. Soft and warm!
