I was worried about other negative reviews but i decided to follow the advice of one person who blended hers when the product arrived separated, and i can tell you this is excellent!!!! It tastes so good and is super smooth, just use an immersion blender to reconstitute the butter. I decanted mine in a mason jar after blending.

This is ok in the summer when you can store it in a warmer place but in the cooler/cold months NOPE this stuff is like a brick and in a plastic jar good luck with heating it up…. I had to run this under hot water forever which is wasteful just to use a spoonful…. Off to find a brand in a glass jar…

This is fantastic! Yes, it is somewhat hard, and spreadability isn't the best, but that comes with the territory, by its very nature. This tastes so good, I really can eat it right out of the jar! I can't wait to use this with coconut rice, coconut soup, and a wide variety of other uses! Thank you for a great inexpensive supremely tasty organic product!

I wanted to like this product, but first issue it’s in a plastic bottle, and the instructions say heat up the product, BUT You are not to heat your food in plastic. Second issue, I did heat up th product by setting it in hot water. It heated up to 107 degrees and it was still rock hard pieces and oil. No matter how much I mixed it was not blending in. I don’t see why I should have to work so hard to use a product. It is not too old or is it old as you can see in the picture the expiration date is a year from today. So why is it not usable. I have used Coconut mana and artisana coconut butter before and they did not have any problems mixing. Also the texture of the hard sections is coarse and dry. I can not use this it is useless and a waste of money because as usual, NO RETURNS!!! Don’t buy this, especially if you have arthritis.

We have been using Kevala coconut butter for some time and it has always been excellent. It is pure, unadulterated, and organic. I get a kick out of the rating of "Easy to spread." This is pure coconut butter and if it is not warm it won't spread because it will be hard so be aware of that. If a coconut butter product spreads when cool then it has been mixed with other oils and is not pure.

I don't know why I love coconut flavor so much! This, however, was not as tasty as I'd hoped. It also comes in a plastic container which makes it hard to "soften" in our cool Pacific Northwest climate!. I won't purchase it again. It's too hard to work with, and at best just average tasting.
