This is sturdier than regular jigsaw puzzles. The description says it's made of wood, but in another place says "cardboard wood" - I'm not sure what that is. Anyway, it seems to be compressed cardboard. The pieces fit well together and the design is bright with rich colors. I like that there is a poster with dinosaur information (I haven't verified that the information on it is correct). I also like that there's a design on the back of the puzzle pieces, as well. This might be a bit complicated for a 3-year-old to do alone.

I found this puzzle fun to do while also challenging and this was with the backdrop as a guide. The circular pattern adds complexity having to angle pieces just right to make the pattern. The dinosaur pattern was fun, and I liked that they had descriptions of the dinosaurs for educational purposes on the back of the guide sheet. One thing that was a little annoying is I felt like this puzzle tended to pop up a bit, meaning you'd have pieces inserted, then part of the puzzle would raise or pop up and you'd have to pat it down make sure it stayed level. For this reason, I would recommend you stick to working it on a hard surface (table vs. carpet, etc.).

Love this dinosaur puzzle! I ordered this for my 4 nieces and nephews ages 3 to 8 because in one way or another, they are all enthralled with anything dinosaur. This is an item that keeps all of them occupied for a long time while I am busy with chores. Without my input, they are all able to interact with it, all together, each at their own level. The puzzle pieces are sturdy and fit together well. The cartoon characters are created accurately enough to be clearly identified and the overall picture of the assembled puzzle is a peasant one. I think this will end up being a hand-me-down- to younger members of the family and it would also make a great gift.

This is a fun puzzle, with a great and colorful dinosaur design. The puzzle pieces are large size, so great for kids, and the materials are really durable. The pieces are very thick and a rigid paperboard that should hold up to a normal amount of use (not abuse, like anything made of paper products, you could bend them out of shape if you were trying).I liked that this puzzle is a circular shape, so all the pieces are curved, which is something different! And it looks like there is a design on the back that could be colored in with crayons or markers, so that's kind of cool! It didn't say anything about that on the box, so I'm just guessing, but makes it a little more fun to have an art option as well. This will be a fun puzzle for the kiddos and with the larger pieces, they are not as likely to get lost!

I thought I'd let my G-children (4+7) put this puzzle together. So, I decided to try my hands at putting this colorful Dinosaur puzzle by Synarry together first I'm glad I had the background picture w/instructions. I've not done a large 70piece round floor puzzle before and it was a little harder then I thought but I had lots of fun and was pleased with the puzzle. I'm sure my "Dino-crazy G-children will be pleasantly surprised that their Nanny was able to put it together. I'm satisfied with the quality and design of this fun puzzle and recommend it for kids of any age ( us older kids included!).

Nice puzzle but it’s missing a piece. We just opened it today and put it together. A bummer. Passed the return date.

Fun puzzle that allows children to challenge themselves working on short term memory skills and improve their mental speed. The puzzle is brightly colored, the pieces are large enough and the dinosaur characters are fun and engaging. I love having puzzles around for my kids, nieces and nephews so that they can wok on and develop skills needed.

Very great puzzle nice sized pieces. The circle shape adds a nice unique touch to the puzzle.

This is a different - a round jigsaw. Its approx 58cm across. The large pieces fit together well and the finished picture shows a group of brightly coloured dinosaurs. The set includes a booklet with interesting facts about each dinosaur. A Jigsaw that's fun for young children

Despite the listing's claims, I don't see that any 3 year old would have the patience or interest to complete this puzzle without a lot of help. It is not exceptionally difficult, but it took me, an adult, about 15-20 minutes to complete it. Most toddlers are not going to spend that long at something.That being said, it is a very good puzzle for a slightly older (say 5 & up) child with a good attention span. The pieces are large, brightly colored, and go together easily. The puzzle uses a design based on rings of concentric circles that make it easier to estimate where each piece belongs. The reference image is almost as large as the finished puzzle. For more advanced children, there's another version of the image on the back that is just linear, making for a more challenging puzzle. On the back of the reference image, there's also lots of interesting information about the dinosaurs in the image, adding to the educational opportunity presented by this puzzle. It is a good toy for children who are interested in dinosaurs in particular or learning in general.

Although this giant floor puzzle is fun and vibrant the poster which is included with this is educational and teaches little ones interesting dinosaur facts which i find really useful. The puzzle is a little tricky though and my little one did need some help with this but we found it was a fun activity to do together whilst reading the facts about dinosaurs. I thought this puzzle would be wooden, although found out the puzzle pieces are made from Cardboard Wood which is really tightly compacted cardboard, however we found the pieces relatively durable and the pieces were constructed well and interlocked as they should. Overall a nice puzzle and a refreshing change from traditional rectangular shaped puzzles.

The puzzle was a great colourful picture. Kids were excited to work on it. But immediately you can see the corners peeling up. I had to glue a couple that were totally separating from the cardboard base.For the price of this puzzle I would expect the picture to be firmly glued to the puzzle board.
