Q: What is the difference between penny drop and penny drop II?

Thanks for your interest. Penny Drop premium has a cherry top that slides off. It also has a floorboard box that is water and scratch resistant. Penny Drop II has a wood box with maple top. The cover lifts off as opposed to the sliding action of the premium model. They both play the same. There is also an economy model that is small and with a wood box with lift off top. When it is me choosing for my own play, I prefer the Premium model. Its beautiful and ergonomically more pleasant than the other models. However, it is the game itself which generates the fun and all offer the same rules and enjoyment. We also now offer a Nickel Drop version of the game that plays with nickels and slightly different game rules. enjoy! Dave CreativeCrafthouse
