This little pen sized light, which I just received, really performs! I waited until dark and just tested it in my front yard- it lit up an area about 30' wide at a distance of about 50'. I own, among others, AA maglights and other recently purchased single battery LED's using AA's and this light really holds its own and even outperforms them. I'm a Project Manager for public housing-- I wear suits/ties and go on construction sites weekly- I need something I can easily carry in a pocket for inspections- just found my new llight!
