Not for 2012 Mitsubishi Galant es
I needed to replace my old locking gas cap so I put in all the info for my car and this was what was recommended. This gas cap sets off my check engine light every time I refill my tank. I have to clear it out and reset the code. I'm going to check out different auto sites and hopefully get a cap that doesn't set off the check engine light

This locking gas cap works great.

Stop working after couple days
This cap is not good itโs just stop working. I tried to open it and it was not opening with key. So I had to cut it to open for filling my car. Not even used for couple days. Not recommend this one. Not for dodge challenger 2021.

Looks simple but โฆโฆ.
Itโs complicated to remove the cap . Read the instructions on the cap and followed accordingly but it gets stuck everytime . Itโs not easy to open and getting gas shouldnโt be difficult
