This paint is one of the best on the market. It covers well, lovely finish .The only problem is I wish they did this in a larger tin 2.5 .

Don't be fooled by the price or the fact that professional painters have kept this brand a bit of a secret for years.The price is very pocket friendly and as such you could pass this gem by, give it a go and see how good it looks for yourself.It's a brilliant paint to work with, it goes on easily and is a nice creamy thickness that covers well whilst painting - didn't seem to drip either which was good. Cleaning up was a cinch and my brushes were left looking great afterwards.Once dry the sheen is just right and even if its on a flat vertical piece - door, or dado rails the effect once the light hits is perfect.Plus it can be used on metal too and is quick drying.Did i say quick drying? That was important for me as my pets tend to end up with different colours otherwise 🙂

Brilliant product, it is so easy to use and covers well though it does need 2 coats to get a good finish, that is not a problem as I always apply 2 top coats of any paint.It dries quickly and does not stink the house out for days like oil based does. It has transformed my hallway and I am now on my third tin, purely because the results are so good I have continued to give my home a complete makeover. Delivery is quick and product well packaged. I have used soft cream as I do not like a stark glare of white, having said that unless it is against white you would think it Was white.

It looked darker as I painted it on but dried lighter and I am pleased with the coverage.

What you expect from this brand , did find better price locally by £1.50 on the next batch i bought but hey ho still very good serves and price

The lack of smell is fabulous but the coverage is rubbish. It has taken three coats to adequately cover the previous colour which was just a slightly darker shade of cream! Heaven only knows how many it would take to cover an actual colour rather than a pale neutral! As decorating is such an expensive business, we thought it was important to warn other users - you will need more than you think. More time, too!

Would normally buy Dulux satin finish but was unable to get the colour I wanted which was Cream, having used Johnstone's paint for woodwork in the bathroom in a dove grey and being impressed by the finish I decided to see if they had the colour I was looking for and pleased to see they did. Coats really well, this was to refresh woodwork that was already cream, and this was more of a softer cream then I had used before and quick drying leaving a lovely satin sheen finish. Cheaper than other well known brands . Will be using Johnstone's paint in future. Love it.
