However, the fine mesh prevents proper drainage. We tried these in both our stand alone shower and in a bathtub shower combo. Both were filled with a significant amount of water after just a few minutes with these in place. I thought it was the hair blocking proper drainage; so the next shower I cleared it every few minutes but the same thing happened, water up over the top of my feet in a shower that NEVER does that. Removal leaves ALL of the sticky stuff behind. It took 3 rounds of soaking with goo-gonE, letting it sit, and attacking with my most aggressive scrubber and then I gave up and got a butter knife to scrape off all the residue. My drain has never looked so clean hahaha. Concept is good but these created more problems than they solved.
