Great little machine
This little washing machine is just what we needed while having a complete kitchen renovation. Although it can't do a big load, it washes the clothes really well. It's very hands on as you have to drain the machine after the short 15 minute wash, then you have to manually rinse the clothes. You then need to transfer the clothes over to the spinner, which by the way is very impressive! The clothes are almost dry after the spin cycle and it only takes 5 minutes! Be careful not to overload the spin dryer though, I have also found that if spin dryer is used too many times in one go, the spin dryer will stop working and you have to let it 'cool off' for half an hour or so, then it resumes working again. It can easily handle washing and spinning bigger items of clothing as long as you don't load too many in one go.This would be a perfect machine for single people or for camping, would absolutely recommend buying this machine.I have bought extra cover for this just in case it does break down, but I've been using it almost daily for the past 2 weeks and so far, so good. If I have any problems in the near future I will update this post.

Great replacement for hand washing
Great little machine! I've had it for a few months now and use it nearly every day. Usually many times a day. My old washing machine quit on me and I couldn't afford to replace it right away so I got this. It washes significantly better than my regular household washer did! Very impressed! The only downsides are that it's a small capacity and the spin is basically useless, but that's to be expected in this type of thing. I can do most of my laundry in this thing. I've even washed my bedding in it multiple times. You can't fit a duvet in it, but you can fit a double size fitted sheet or a double size duvet cover. Separately of course. I have even washed a fleece throw blanket in it (120x150 cm). It fits, but just barely. If you had something that size that was particularly dirty you would need to find another way to wash it, but if you're desperate and it only needs freshening it will work.I have washed size 20 thin skinny jeans and size 10 regular thick jeans in this without an issue. Size 20 thick jeans would struggle though. It's just too heavy for the machine. The machine can wash xl thick hoodie without an issue, but it does struggle when the big, thick goodies have heavy duty zippers etc. Mostly because the hardware on the hoodie scratches up the plastic on the bottom. The machine can cope just fine with the weight of the wet fabric and water, but clothes with heavy hardware is too hard on the machine. I had a metal clasp on a hoodie string come loose during washing and get stuck under the plastic plate for the spinning mechanism, preventing it from spinning properly and making a terrible noise. It was easy to take out the hoodie and water, dry the machine thoroughly, removing the plastic plate, and take out the offending metal clasp. It then worked perfectly again. I would strongly advise not to was clothes with heavy hardware in this machine though. In terms of spinning, it is very similar to putting your wet clothes into a salad spinner. The upside is that you don't have to manually spin like you would with a salad spinner. The downside is that you still have to hand wring your clothes (or find another solution). Again, that's to be expected with this type of machine. You won't find any other similar machine with a better spin function. You'll either have to spend more money for a bigger, higher quality machine with a stainless steel basket, get a separate machine strictly for spinning, hand wring your clothes, or allow to drop dry while still very wet. The side by side machines that take up twice the space, have one side dedicated to spinning, and cost nearly double sometimes have a better spinner, but not always. Plan to buy this strictly for the washing function. If you have mobility issues in your hands that prevent you from wringing out your laundry, you can use the spin on this machine and then hang your clothes up to dry, but be sure you put a towel on the floor and point a fan at the airing wrack. If you don't do these things you will have a wet floor (laundry doesn't drop a ton, but it does drip some) and your clothes will take so long to dry you risk getting issues with mildew. I know from experience. All in all it's a great little machine considering cost, space saving, and effectiveness of cleaning. Would recommend, providing you are aware of and prepared for the fact that spinning does not compare to a standard home washer. Some reviews express surprise at how much water is used. That's why it gets your clothes so much cleaner than a normal household washer. Most home washers don't use anywhere near enough water to properly clean clothes. The most effecient way to use this machine (for time, water saving, and detergent saving) is to fill it with hot soapy water, send a few thing through the wash (if the water looks clean it is clean, set wet clothes aside while you wash more) and when the water looks dirty drain the water. Then fill it up with clear water, squeeze as much water out of your laundry as possible, then send things through the rinse a few things at a time. Once out of the rinse, wring out and hang to dry. You can then add some detergent to the rinse water and use it to wash the next batch of laundry in the same fashion. Doing it that way makes this machine far more environmentally friendly than a standard washer. It uses far less water and detergent than a standard washer, while getting your clothes cleaner. Win win. You need to think of it as a replacement for hand washing rather than a replacement for your normal machine. Modern washing machines don't use anywhere near enough water to properly clean your clothes and then waste the water they do use by sending it down the drain prematurely. This is far superior in terms of cleanliness and environmental footprint.Oh, one last thing: it helps to attach a stocking, nylons or thin sock to the drainage hose with a rubber band and wipe out the inside after use. There is no built in lint trap and, while it does produce less lint than a standard washer, there is always some amount of lint when you wash clothes. Having a sock attached to the hose prevents lint from going down your drain and clogging pipes and wiping down the interior prevents any tiny bits of lint that didn't make it down the hose from getting on the next load of laundry. I wipe mine out after roughly 6 loads of laundry sent through both wash and rinse cycles. Any more than that is overkill.

Terrible product - broken on the first wash
I had so much promise for this portable washing machine. We were planning to use it in the middle of a house move (as our main washing machine was in storage). When I opened the product, I thought it looked reasonable for the price. I read through the instructions and put our first wash on. Everything was going well to that point. I followed the instructions and decided to do a small wash to be safe (two polos & two pairs of boxer shorts). The wash cycle completed no issue, I drained the dirty was and refilled to rinse. Again all went well with no issues. I drained the water, removed the items ready for the spin cycle.I inserted the spin basket, and in the instructions it mentions not to overload the basket and use a max weight of 2kg. As I wanted the item to last, I was extra careful and put one polo shirt in. The machine started to spin, and made it to the end of the cycle. I removed to hang on a clothes airer. I then inserted the second polo on it's own to continue. But the machine would not spin? I switched modes to see if it would work again in the wash cycle, nothing. You can hear the timer clicking away on the separate dial, but the machine is essentially dead. It won't wash, it won't rinse. DO NOT BUY. Terrible product and a waste of £85. I should have just used the laundrette for a short period of time!

Gets the job done well
The washer works really well, far better than I was expecting. The spin dryer is a bit temperamental. I've only been able to spin one item at a time, you have to try and distribute the weight properly in the spinner otherwise it'll be off balance and starts banging and does not get up to speed, but when it works correctly it works surprisingly well. Clothes come out only slightly damp. Perfect for drying overall, I am very impressed and I'd recommend it to students, single people in small flats or for camping

Small rotating clothes washing machine
The media could not be loaded. Used it on small clothes items, and tested on a double bed sheet. ONLY SMALL AND LIGHT ITEMS.Washed small clothes ok, spin dry just works ok, have to balance contents & only small number of items at a time.Washed in 15 minute cycle total of 45minutes. To rinse, you have to change water and USE VERY little washing detergent, otherwise you have to change and rinse 3 / 4 times.- lots of water waste, so use little detergent.Very light in weight, so be careful on table tops, as when it works, it can move a bit.To empty it, point hose into drain. So don't over fill it, & make sure drainage hose is attached to holder.
