Installing was fairly easy but I do have HVAC experience and would recommend you seek help if you have never done any HVAC before. The unit is not complicated and cools down very quickly. Waiting to see how much the electric bill is but based on how quick it works and maintains at the lowest level after cooling down I can’t imagine it will be a huge cost. Much more efficient than a window shaker or any other indoor option. Wireless connected fairly easy and the app is straight forward. Running the electrical was the toughest part and would recommend an electrician to get the disconnect box put in where you need it. You also need a whip to connect to the disconnect box and a wall bracket to mount it is highly recommended All things considered this unit is cheap and works well! I’d buy it again as long as it lasts for a few years at least.

Installed it all myself (I have installed 7 so far). First time installing a Rovsun. It was straight forward like others I have installed. Took me about 2.5 hours. Vacuum pumped it down, powered it up, and VOILA! I am cooling my Master Bedroom and Bathroom and it is working great on low. Seems quiet enough....

Ordered 2 of these got everything within lesd than 2 weeks.seller gave me the tracking when asked for the other items quickly.these things work great. The power they draw is completely modular based on the demand.very efficient !.super quiet too.cant even hear them running outside

Unit came in 2 different boxes as others have noted - but my two were shipped via two different carriers... The outdoor unit was shipped via FedEx and was delivered quickly. The indoor unit was shipped via USPS - and our contract USPS carrier just won't delivery any box that is somewhat large or a little heavy.... so, I had to take off work and go to local PO to pickup the indoor unit... not very heavy at all... The confusing thing is there was only one tracking number provided… Now - onto installation - SUPER easy! Instructions are terrible - but it's fairly intuitive. Got it running and wow is it QUIET! So far it cools my shop easily! The ONLY reason I only gave it 4 stars is the split shipment and only a single tracking number….

The unit is able to get my small shed to 64 degrees when it’s 107 outside and cool my shed from 100 degrees to 75 in about an hour. Installation was about a 5/10 in difficulty and the instructions aren’t too good still but went smoothly. The only issues I have with this is that it does not shut off after reaching the desired temperature which can run of the electricity bill but overall for the price it’s works very good. I would recommend this if your in the market for a minisplit

We purchased the 11,500-BTU Rovsun 240v version. I went the DYI route because I do have basic understanding of house electrical wiring…...Unit is lightweight and easy to handle, came with decent instruction manuals…It includes wiring and copper tubing/insulated for connecting the indoor to the outdoor unit, but one must buy wiring necessary for connection of outside unit to home electrical…….It’s working great for our 700sq ft home so far and it’s truly quiet, we live in NC coastal area so we experience hot/humid summers…... The phone app feature is nice, it also came with a really nice remote control. I’m hoping for long term performance but my review is based off initial results. Cools very well, love it so far.

Easy to install, the unit came precharged however you still have to vacuum down the line set. So be prepared.

Installed this in a new room we built in our new garage. I could not get the Wi-Fi app working. I think it has not been updated in awhile. The only other issue had was with the drain line being too cheap. It leaked because it slightly rubbed where it exited the inside unit. This was easily fixed by splicing in a better hose.
