Our state is hands free only when using cell phones while driving, so I have to use a phone holder to use the driving app on my phone. This phone holder has a really strong spring action clip that mounts securely to the dash above the steering wheel. You can’t put it on a super thick part of the dash. It is nice that the part of the mounting bracket that sits on top is curved to fit the contour of the dash. This phone holder is well made. It takes two hands for me to open the mounting spring clip, so when it clamps down on the dash, it is very secure. They put a soft liner on the clip part so it doesn’t damage the dash. There are 4 clips that hold your phone in place, and the buttons at the top and bottom open the clips wider to accommodate a variety of phone sizes. It also makes it easy to release your phone to remove it. You can rotate your phone 180 degrees, and also adjust the tilt angle up and down. You can also fold the phone holder portion down onto the top of the dash mount so it is out of the way if you aren’t using it. Great phone holder!

It was nice but didn’t fit my car properly even though it said my make and model and it didn’t fit my iPhone pro max

I bought this clip on, hoping it would work in different areas of my car, but the clip on was difficult to clip and too large for other areas.

More of a hassle than helpful

The first time I used it the small rubber piece came off so the device wouldn't hold on my dash. It did work on my visor. I am gluing the rubber piece back on to see if it works on my dash.

If you don't have a screen in the car already this clip will do you right. You just place the clip in an area of your car that won't obstruct your vision and clasp your phone in it. The only negative thing I can say about this clip is the fact that your phone may not respond while inside of it. I don't know if it is because it maybe squeezed too tightly or what but my phone simply doesn't respond as it normally would. But, my phone is 4+ years old so take that with a grain of salt.
