★★★★☆ Wholesome Flavor and Fun Gameplay — Minor Tweaks Needed for Competitive Play
The Family Matters deck from Bloomburrow is easily one of the most charming precons I've played in a long time. The woodland creature theme is absolutely delightful—brimming with flavor, and every card feels like it belongs in a cozy, storybook world. The art direction is top-tier, and the deck’s synergy around family and teamwork mechanics is incredibly well done. You can tell a lot of care went into crafting this.Gameplay-wise, the deck is a ton of fun right out of the box. It’s accessible for newer players but has enough layers of synergy to keep more experienced players engaged. I played a few games straight out of the packaging and had a great time watching the deck come to life. That said, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:1. Power Level: Out of the box, it's just a bit underpowered compared to some other recent Commander precons. A couple of the creatures or support spells could use slight upgrades if you're planning to take this to a more competitive table.2. Mana Base: The land selection works, but it’s not optimized. Some color-fixing or faster lands would’ve made a huge difference, especially in a deck that thrives on getting multiple creatures out efficiently.Still, for casual Commander nights, flavor lovers, or anyone who enjoys well-themed decks with solid synergy, Family Matters is a great pick. I’m already making a few tweaks to upgrade it—and I’ll be keeping this adorable critter family in my rotation.

Great variety in pack of cards
Fun and enjoyable! My husband loved the options as he started getting into Magic. Cards came in perfect condition, looked great and were easy to put into his sleeves.

Giant squirrels for the win
Never have squirrels inspired so much fear as in my commander pod :)I put a few upgrades into this deck and now I must have a rule 0 discussion before I can bring it to the table. Great value and a fantastic deck!

Fun little group hug
My first commander deck. And still one of my favs. Easy to figure out even for beginners while still being a pretty strong deck.

Bloomburrow is my favorite set!
Bloomburrow brought me into MTG. Yes I have had friends throughout the years since the 90s to get me into it and I just couldn't get into it.I love commander though, and even more really enjoy bloomburrowI would like a few more cards that fit the theme when it comes to the cards included in the commanders. What I can say: Peace Offering: The grouphug deck has TEETH. This is my favorite of themSquirrels: Not enough squirrels, not sure what happened here, but still is funBird: Tried this one and doesn't do it for me. The commander is great, but the cards in this just doesn't do it well enough. There are a few cards that can pop-off with 1-1's but honestly best to just break down the deck and build it back up yourselfRaccoons: I haven't tried this one yet, so I can't say one way or anotherStill for those of you looking to strip a commander deck for parts, there are plenty of great cards to be found within. I like sticking to premades, but I understand other's desires.
