This 47" circular Fire Pit Mat arrived vacuum sealed in a plastic bag and easily unfolds. The creases are minor after unfolding and do not prevent the mat from laying flat on the ground. This fire pit mat is flexible, has a grippy surface, and fits well under the Solo Stove Bonfire. It will also work well for any other similarly sized fire pit without issue. It appears to be easy to clean as it is waterproof.Note that the fire pit mat appears to be well constructed but is somewhat thin at only 0.5 mm thick, which may affect its durability/longevity after extended use. The measurements taken for thickness ranged from 0.47 mm to 0.52 mm when measured at a few different places at least a half inch from the edge to avoid the stitching at the edges. This mat does have quality stitching at the edges.The material is silicone on the top and bottom layers with "heat-resistant glass fiber" as the middle layer. Note that hi-temp silicone on its own typically has a heat resistance rating of about 600F and fiberglass typically has a heat resistance rating of 1800F to 2500F, so it remains to be seen if the silicone top and bottom layers of this fire pit mat will withstand repeated exposure to embers after several uses. The description does state that "to extend the life of the mat, keep 5 inches between the bottom of the fire pit and the mat", so it is likely that the silicone layers are not heat-resistant above 600F.

This is a great mat that fits under any number of fire pits and portable grills. I suggest sizing up for extra safety. This guy came wrapped up nice and tight, and folds for storage. I can fit it inside my solo stove which makes it easy to transport.

The smokeless fire pits are really the way to go if you have the room/space and can afford a well made version. I only have experiece with one brand and it works great I wont mention any specific brands but they might be making cups as well. That out of the way the mat is really heavy duty that I can see this lasting for many seasons and if needed better when needed I would be coming back to order another. The size fits perfectly under the pit and is really going add some added protection to the surface as the just as fire pits go the radiant is closer to the surface area were I wanted to ensure that I could have this place for any mishaps.

We just purchased a Solo fire pit and have quickly found that accessories are very expensive. I ordered this mat and I'm glad I did. It's a great value and looks sleek under our firepit. Our fire pit is on stone, so there's not threat of damage, really, but I ordered this to hopefully contain any embers that might pop out.It's rugged and well made, a very good value.

I've made the mistake of putting my nice, smokeless stainless steel firepit directly on my lawn. The heat wreaks havoc on the grass and basically kills everything underneath it. I'm pumped to try this mat as a way to save my lawn. It also gives you a little added assurance against an ember popping out and trying to start a side hustle in the fire business.

The material on this feels rubbery and flexible. It came vacuum packed and opened right up without any deep creases. I had my Solo Bonfire on a much smaller mat and embers were still hitting my deck, so I thought I would give this much larger mat a try. Since then, the mat has repelled rain and been unaffected by frost. For reference, it sits in the middle of a painted area that's about 7.5 square feet, so this mat is plenty big to protect the deck from anything the solo stove can throw out. I recommend this.

I use this mat under my Solo Stove Bonfire, as intended. It is the perfect size for the Bonfire, and protects my brick pavers wonderfully from embers and heat. The mat is thin and lightweight, and easy to clean by simply wiping it off. Good value for the cost!

I picked up a used solo bonfire that did not have a stand. I primarily use it on my deck, so I have set up some extra pavers that I already had to lift it off the deck and give it space to protect the deck from the heat, and then this mat to provide a bit of extra protection as well as keep sparks and marshmallows and other things from getting on the deck.It is thinner than I would like. Not because it doesn't protect but because the thinness isn't quite heavy enough to keep the edges from blowing up occasionally. But that one minor frustration isn't a huge deal and it does what I got it for.
