Fast and Good
I’m not a big plain rice fan, but this cilantro lime is really good. I did add a bit more lime and salt though. Very easy to make, and super fast. Good value. Great for fast weeknight dinners, used to make a quick casserole with shredded chicken and cheese.

When cooking your own rice is too hard.
I enjoy Uncle Ben’s 90 second rice packets I mean, what’s not to enjoy? It’s easy, always delicious and if you break up the rice before heating practically perfect. Not every microwave rice can claim that. But Uncle Ben’s with its variety of flavors and consistent quality makes it a staple of almost every shopping basket. You know, just in case, I am not up to cooking rice on the stovetop.

Ruined by the New Packaging
Yuck! Uncle Ben’s used to be one of our go-to favorites, especially the wild rice. Since they switched from the classic box to these plastic pouches, the taste has completely changed. It’s artificial, mushy, and downright awful. Hard to believe it’s even the same brand, totally ruined what used to be great rice.

Very good, especially with a citrus based recipe
Love this rice, great for citrus based recipes. I pair this with chicken strips and the "Pollo Asada" seasoning from the Spanglish Asadero store from Walmart.

Convenient but Flavor Was Too Citrusy for Me
This rice is very convenient and easy to prepare, which makes it great for quick meals or busy days. The texture turned out nice and it heats up fast. However, I found the flavor to be a bit too citrusy and not quite enough cilantro for my taste. I ended up adding my own seasoning to balance it out, which helped a lot. It is still a good option for convenience, just be prepared to adjust the flavor if you prefer a more balanced taste.
