Q: What kind of weapons do you have to protect your victory garden?

Good question! I was going to use land mines, then I remembered I have Grandchildren. So instead I dug a mote around my smallish garden and added one smallish alligator. Grow them in a hydroponic system, using wind-turbine powered LED lighting. You will only be able to sustain micro greens in this manner though, because if the ground is irradiated, it is going to be difficult to provide fertilizer. Although, if you combine a hydroponic system with a fishery (aquaponics), you can grow duckweed to feed the fish, and then use the fish poo to fertilize your plants.

Q: Has anyone tried to regrow vegetables from the vegetables these seeds provided?

Basic biology would indicate 2nd, 3rd and future generations should not be a problem. This is how seed bearing plants reproduce. The bigger question relates to the climate these plants are grown in. Seed stock well suited for Minnesota is often not the same seed stock suitable for Arizona or Southern California. Corn is a good example. By the early 1950's (long before GMO technology was invented) seed companies had evolved through natural selection optimal varieties for every county in every state in the US.
