Been using this in my instant pot Duo 6qt for years now and it's been great. The lower pot doesn't really get much steam but it heats up just fine.

These worked great. I saw on a few reviews about a back film that wouldn't come off Mine had two little spots on the lid that came off with dawn liquid and a sponge. This is probably from where they drill the holes in the lid. Nothing major and the cleaned up nice. Cooked a small portion of rice and it came out perfect. Exactly what I needed. Plus easy to store in my 8qt Insta. They fit right inside and I can store everything together.

Very strong and easy to cook multiple dishes at the same time

This is a really good product both in terms of build and compatibility with Instant Pot. For daily Indian cooking that involves cooking Dal and rice, in one shot, this is a total time saver and much less expensive than its counter parts without compromising the utility. The handle is a thoughtful addition that allows picking up very hot cooked food easier. My only feedback is that it would be able to include a second lid in the design for the bottom pan instead of merely relying on the top pan to cover it. I ask this because once cooked, I want to cover both pans with properly fitted lids.

Great insert

Have washed five times and still get black greasy shoot the last wash used very hot water in my sink with a dishwasher detergent tablet soaked till I could get my hands in the water used a plastic scrubber and soft brush rinse and wipe with white towel and still black shoot hate buying from China no quality control still going to try to get clean have to use for some recipes or return and try to buy in USA so anyone that has bought these beware the shoot doesn't what to come off easily so has to be going into the food you eat need made in AMERICA back before China makes all sick.

This is such a great tool. I do rice for a week in 14 minutes on my cooker.

Bought this for my rice cooker as I like to cook multiple items at one go. this is just the life saver the lid with holes does the perfect job when steaming and the green color silicon protector gloves help you take out the hot food without any risk
