This is a fantastic bit of kit.
Yes, it is an old design and a little bit heavier than other mess tins. However, Everything about this product is brilliant. It can take some hammer as well.I have purchased 3 of them now. 2 as gifts for other people.My tin has been used to cook in, on almost every type of stove, open fire or combination of the two you can imagine.It has its battle scars now but after 3 years of abuse, it keeps ending up in my pack. I have all sorts of outdoor cooking equipment. But I keep coming back to this.One of the best things I have purchased in years.

Great mess set.
As near perfect as you could want for a pan and plate, with enough room inside when closed to carry a few more items. Dried food, coffee etc. Goes with me on every camp !
