These headphones are exactly what I needed, and they work right out of the box perfectly with no configuration needed. I have a 2017 Armada and the name brand headphones were hundreds of dollars for a pair. I was skeptical that I could get a pair that were decent quality and would actually work in my car for such a low price. I figured if they didn't work I could always return them but they are amazing and I'm so glad I got them.PROS: THEY WORK! Right out of the box, popped in the batteries, turn them on... and they just start playing the audio if they are positioned in front of the rear-headrest screens. Mine seem to work on either channel.Auto-shutoff to save battery. No matter how many times I tell them, my kids almost never turn the switch off before jumping out of the car when we get where we are going. Without the auto shutoff feature, I'd be replacing the batteries in these things a couple of times a week. Instead, I only need to once every few months. Great feature.Comfortable and simple to use. My 7 and 4 year old can turn them on and adjust the volume by themselves.INDEPENDENT audio from whatever is playing over the main speakers in the car. This is HUGE. On long road trips, I can have the car audio set to bluetooth playing music or podcasts or whatever the parents actually want to listen to. Meanwhile these headphones play the audio from the movie the kids are watching in the back seats. Being able to listen to what we want to listen to instead of being forced to listen to Frozen 2 for the 500th time on a road trip is absolutely amazing and exactly what I wanted most in a pair of headphones.CONS: Only one con so far I have found is that the cover to the battery compartment is a bit too easy to remove and then is easily lost. One of my headphones is now missing the battery compartment and the kids fight over who has to use the "broken" headphones. Wish the cover was captive when unscrewed, or better yet more childproof to remove in the first place, so that the cover wouldn't get lost somewhere.Even with that one downside, these headphones are exactly what I was hoping they would be and for a price waaaay less than I thought I would be able to find. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased these to replace the headphones that came with my 2016 Tundra Platinum (Vizualogic headrest video/tablet units) which were decent but not so great.First impression of these was great especially the initial feel of the build quality. They were heavy feeling (in a good way), flexible as described, fit my kids heads perfectly, and wrapped around their tiny ears to provide an even better fit then the over the ear headphones which would never stay put.At first I saw many review stating the battery cover kept popping off which almost turned me away, but after examining myself I have no clue why they had that issue as mine closed snug with a little pressure applied while turning the cover.Distance from my headrest unit is about 3 ft and when directly in front of the unit you have the channel set you get clear audio, when on the other side of the truck you can get a little fuzzy but nothing deal breaking.I most definitely love the auto off feature but have yet to put that and the battery life to test. Hence the reason I bought Amazon Basic 20pk of AAA batteries lol.Only real thing I have against this is when you fold the headphones they scuff the outside a wee bit but nothing serious, it goes away with a swipe of a moist finger.Overall a great product but will follow up with more details after our upcoming family trip.(UPDATE)Just finished a 20 hour family trip and will say these headphones have had no issues. 12+ hrs of watching videos and my kids are still on the same set of batteries. I guess the 20 pack of Amazon AAA was overkill. Still no issues to report other than the battery cover popping off one time when my daughter dropped them on the floor of the truck. I did end up having my kids pull audio from their own tablets on the headrest so the little fuzzy when pulling audio from the other side was not present.Still holding true to my initial thoughts of being a great bang for your buck product.

These headsets haven't been used for very long, but my experience so far with them is super impressive. As soon as I turned them on, they immediately connected to my Durango Entertainment system. Love that the connection is flawless, and no issues. I'm actually impressed on the sound quality. They pack plenty of amps, so that the volume doesn't have to be turned up super high to hear what's being played. The volume only has to be turned up slightly to get a decent sound of what's being played. The feel of them over yours are very comfortable as well. Hopefully these headsets will last for a long time, since they hardly get used.

For the price and quality of the headphones, this items works great in our Chevy Suburban. I like how it folds up and can be placed in a bag. The sound quality was good, I would always have to check the volume to make sure it wasn’t turned up too loud for my 3 yr old. Definitely a lifesaver of not hearing kid movies play while on long road trips so you can concentrate on the road or just have a conversation in the car with the other passengers. I recommend this product.

For almost 3 years our kids have used the first pair of these we bought and they've been great. The ear pads started to fall apart sooner than I'd expect (they do on all headphones eventually) so I contacted simolio and they quickly sent replacements. We just bought some more for when we have more kids in the car - looking forward to using these for years to comeHoping the headbands on these will be more comfortable - the others the kids say start to hurt after a couple of hours. Good for one movie but not for entire long road trips.The feature that those others, the SM 562 has over these: volume limiters.These are a little more compact though - I included my car key for scale. we have a 21 pilot and they integrate perfectly.
