Great product
Worked amazing to remove a cab mount bolt that was snapped by the previous owner of my truck. Hammered it on and it bit the stud immediately allowing me to remove it pretty easily

This is not a 1/2” drive, don’t buy, breaks first time
Description states 1/2” but it is not. There is a 3/8” to 1/2” adapter that has to be used, making the set a 3/8” drive. Used it with a 300 ft-lb impact and sheared the 3/8” adapter on first use. I am disappointed with Amazon’s buyers as they either did not look at this set or are not qualified to make the decision as to whether or not Amazon should be selling this. I returned it to Amazon, but still disappointed wasting my time.

This extractor worked like a charm
The media could not be loaded. I had a lugnut that was cross threaded and locked up. I stripped at least 10 different sockets with a dewalt 20 volt 1/2 impact gun trying to it off, some heavy duty some not. I put the extractor on it and it came off with no effort. From this experience I highly recommend this extractor set.

Looks nice, but did not bite on my broken bolts
This set does look impressive, but when I tried it on 3 broken bolts, the extractor just spun around on the threads and never really bit into the bolt itself. I used the only size that fit, the 5/16. It just produced some metal shavings as it spun fairly loosely around the bolt. I tried to "screw" it on, I also tried tapping it onto the bolt with a rubber mallet, but it just spun. I never felt it even try to bite into the bolt. To it's credit, it did remove material from the bolt rather than from the extractor, so at least the extractor is harder steel than the bolt was.I'll keep these around for the next time I have a broken bolt, but I'm not holding out a lot of hope. This might work better on a rounded off bolt head rather than a broken one. I'll give it a try when the opportunity presents itself.
