Exceptional Scandinavian Salmon Oil!
This nfo omega-3-6-9 salmon oil is of very impressive quality in all aspects. This is the best salmon oil supplement I have ever come across so far. I opened up several of the capsules and checked out the salmon oil inside just to make sure it is the real deal. What surprised me the most was just how amazingly tasty, fresh and downright delicious it was! After that I wondered why such a flavorful oil was even put in soft-gel capsules, there really is no need for that in my opinion. If you like salmon you will enjoy the taste of this oil for sure. Now for the people who actually don't like salmon and are just taking it for the outstanding health benefits, as long as you don't pop the capsules it has no fish scent or taste at all. What I also appreciate a lot is that this oil was made from wild caught salmon from the waters around Norway and not farm raised as that makes a huge difference in terms of quality and nutritional benefits. Next thing that stands out is that only natural and not artificial preservatives were used: rosemary extract, citric acid esters and vitamin E. The capsules themselves are made from pure fish gelatin which is absorbed by the body easily and even assists in digesting other food. The company is a professional one from Trondheim, Norway and established since 1987 and has all the right certifications and adheres to top notch manufacturing practices. What is not to like?

I like everything about this product except the price.
I had to search for an alternative as the price blocks my motivation to re-supply on a monthly basis. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. The fishy aftertaste is very minimal. The bottle seems premium for some reason, maybe it's the aluminum foil seal. You just believe you are getting something pure. But at a minimum, for a monthly supply this should be half the price. At the time of writing this review this product was near $60.This product is easy to stomach but the price is not. Especially if you have to pay full price every month to resupply. Maybe if the bottle was a 3 or 4 month supply, I can justify the price and give this thing 5 stars at the said price rate. As it stands, I will likely revisit the product again if I see a big discount. I'm not willing to give up any of my herbal supplements to get this product monthly.

Safe, high quality
I have a friend who studied aquaculture in University and was professionally involved with fish farming for some years, and after hearing some real horror stories over the years, I can tell you that you would be much better to stay away from any farmed fish, either in supplement form or on your dinner plate. This is one of the number one things that recommends this NFO Norwegian fish oil, that it comes exclusively from wild caught salmon, and the waters in Scandinavia are still pretty clean. They also have lots of certifications assuring quality, including very low toxicity, which is always a risk with any large fish.If you take their recommended daily dose of three capsules, that brings the cost to about a dollar a day, which can add up if you take a lot of supplements, as I do. Or, you could do what I do -- consume a diet already rich in Omegas 3 6 and 9 -- I eat walnuts, avocado, flaxseed, and olive oil every day -- and just supplement with one or two of these capsules every day, which will stretch it out. Just an idea.

Great choice for fish oil, high quality
High quality, not bad tasting. One of the better choices I've come across for fish oil after trying many others. Recommended.Comes sealed with tampers. Fresh with plenty of time on the expiration. Had good info on the manufacturer to trust that it's good quality. Recommended choice for fish oil.

Smaller capsules; 3 capsules = 1 dose
This bottle of NFO fish oil softgels contains 120 softgels of omega 3, 6 and 9 salmon oil. A serving is three softgels, so this container has 40 servings. Each dose contains 1500 mg of salmon oil; the label then breaks it down into Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids - EPA 60mg, DHA 60mg, and DPA 30mg. In comparison to my usual fish oil supplement, which has 1000mg of fish oil, it says that it has 250mg combined DHA and EPA, so about 2x as much as the NFO, but does not list any DPA. Honestly, I always find comparing supplements to be a tricky business because the labeling is not standardized. I do like that these capsules are smaller - so easier to swallow - even though you have to take 3. I have not experienced any fishy aftertaste after taking these, which is a big bonus.

Quality Omega-3 with Confusing Labeling
I turned to these fish oil capsules for my Omega-3 needs, enticed by the promise of 100% pure salmon oil. They boast a significant amount of beneficial fatty acids such as EPA and DHA, which I sought for heart and cognitive health. Plus, the commitment to no dairy, gluten, or artificial additives aligns with my preference for clean supplements.Yet, upon closer inspection, the math on the label is perplexing. The individual fatty acid amounts don't seem to correspond with the total fish oil content listed, which casts doubt on the accuracy of the supplement facts. For those of us who take dietary precision seriously, this discrepancy is disconcerting. The product itself may still be beneficial, but with the nutrition information in question, it makes me hesitant to fully trust it. Clarity in labeling is crucial in supplements, and unfortunately, this product falls short in that area.

WILD
Wild caught fish oil caught my eye when I saw this product. I avoid farm raised fish products and foods. I take this with morning breakfast and have had no issues. No adverse affects.I will finish this product and update this if anything arises.
