Great value for money and brilliant plasticiser
I used it very occasionally for odd jobs around the house and I'm still using the same bottle about 2 years after purchasing, so great value. It greatly reduces the water needed, making concrete super strong and gives mortar mixes that spread to it. It's easy to use only a little bit is needed, but I'd recommend mixing it really well and adding water gradually then mixing further, as it's easy to make your mixes too wet with this.

Go with the flow
Used to create footings for retaining walls and fill the 6ft hollow block walls built on top.I found a 0.6 WC ratio and maximum dosing created a self compacting mix. With superplasticisers the mix becomes super sensitive to water content so you need to mix and pour fast else water absorption by dry aggregate can reduce flow properties. Obviously can add more water but if trying to achieve a specified strength it's not ideal road to go down.Once you've got a SCC mix. Pouring is sooooo easy. Even long trenches can be poured from just one or two locations. There is a limit as to how far the SCC will flow/creep but it is extremely easy to persuade further with a spade or pokey stick. Levelling/Finishing are also insanely easy, I find myself feeling like I've forgotten something as it's such low effort.Filling deep cavities successfuly needs pre wetting with hose else the substrate can pull too much water from the mix, but it's still 1000% easier than messing with pokers.Overall it does add a significant cost to the mix but this is easily outweighed by time saving. It also makes it pretty easy to do fairly big pours solo if required.

Very runny
Only use if u want very runny cement.

This is not plasticiser for mortar!
I use this product to make the concrete for a bespoke outdoor kitchen counter. I did a lot of research and found that concrete plasticizer is not the same as mortar plasticizer. This product is excellent for small concrete jobs where you need good flow, but low water content.

Neutral
Does not seem to work as good as I expected, perhaps I am not getting the mix correct.

Harmony with polymer, cement, fibres and sand
Used for reducing water in GFRC mixes. Definitely makes a difference. Happy with the product though still trial and error as to how much to put in but can confirm it does indeed improve the workability of the mix, to that end I managed to hand pack a batch onto a wall and it stuck really well!

Perfect for the job
I started a DIY stamped concrete / imprint patio project in June last year. On the day we poured the concrete weather changed in a second from sunshine to hailstones and destroyed part of the still wet slab so I gave up. I finished pouring but the bad finish slab was there for over a year without imprint. I did my research and I started another project - resurfacing. I used flowaid as per instructions but in a mix I designed myself. I can tell you it worked a miracle as we are 2/3 of the way through and finishing it in 2 days. The surface of the stamped concrere was rock hard after 48 hours from pouring. Highly recommended.

Not great
Not great requires quite a lot to get it flow easy, thought the overall performance was poor
