Replacement order due to defective light button.
The first device had a defective light button, so I sent it back for a replacement, which also arrived very quickly. This one seems to be OK and is permanently plugged-in in my car.The cover over the belt slicer knife is good and firm; it's not going to fall off accidentally to expose the knife (which is well back).

The battery would stop charging after a while and just overheat. Lasted only two months.
