Better than custom inserts
These are the best inserts for my feet. I've tried about a dozen different brands, including a pair of $500 custom ones. Have had plantar fasciitis for 3+ years, flat pronated feet, 180lbs.With foot pain limiting how much you walk, one is willing to try almost anything, cost is unimportant. So I have tried many inserts and many different brands of sneakers & walking shoes. These inserts give the most arch support of any off the self ones and they are cushioned with some flexibility. My custom inserts have more arch support, but are inflexible, so my feet tire start hurting sooner after walking awhile.Everyone's feet are different. Some reviews said these had too much arch. But for my feet, if anything, I would want a higher, broader arch that is flexible & cushioned. For sneakers & hiking boots, I have found Orthofeet to be the best, coupled with these Valesole inserts.

Love the fit and support

Uncomfortable
I dislike the fact that it made my instep, flat feet, fallen arches, hurt. The plastic they use for the instep is too hard, now that I cut them to size with the shoe, it cannot be returned. Sad.

So disappointed
So I got these as they claimed great padding. Looking at the picture it looks like such great heel comfort with a thicker then Normal pad. It's no better then anything I could of bought at the store. I can already see this will not help much with my heel pain. The only height is the sides. It's not a thicker pad as it was made to look.

I don't know
the profile fits my very very high arch. Awaiting delivery of new shoes to full test.

Trim it for comfort
Find some good scissors because you’ll likely need to trim these down to fit your shoe. I think they work well.

Must have
Initially I was skeptical. Typically, high arch support would kill my feet. So, I was hesitant. Read reviews and seen the positivity and took the gamble. When they arrived, I noticed they were more ridged than other name brands with the gel material. I opened package and noticed they fit my shoe perfectly no cutting but i did noticed potential guidelines towards the toes. As I did this though I casually put my bare foot in the other insert on the ground and it felt as if the insert melded into my foot perfectly. It was a pleasant feeling already in a seated position.Pro's:1)Supper comfortable2) Noticed huge difference in back/knees after long day of work (8hr+ shift in warehouse moving/walking boxes onto pallet with varying weight for store shelfs).Con:1)Might have a day or so break in period. (Noticed whilst lifting a moderately heavy box insert lifted with each step only occurred a few times haven't had happen sense).2)Edge of arch support feels like it pushes into foot at a sharp angle not enough to feel any pain just enough to know it's there. (does go away about 10min later or so).P.s: I've had for about a week or so with these so can't speak for the longevity but want to order more for my other shoes.

Arch to hard
I had to return these. They were way to hard to walk on.
