A bit different these mixes, it's like someone has removed all the atmosphere from these mixes
I'm not saying some of the mixes on this compilation are rubbish, they are not, they are different to the mixes i am used to from the 1970s and the mixes on the Carpenters SACD series which are perfection. It is very well presented in a gatefold sleeve inside a clear duable lose fitting bag with the usual 'Music On Vinyl' sticker on the front which astounds me as to why 'Music On Vinyl' would be proud of this pressing. As mentioned in the header the atmosphere has been sucked out of this recording, it's Mono like in it's presentation, but if this, along with other 'Vinyl recordings' i have purchased of late. is the new normal practice by record pressing plants to reduce surface noise then every vinyl recording that suffers these issues i purchase will be sent back because it is not on, £33.19 for what can be called 'A Monophonic LP'Just to clarify a point, i purchased 'Rumours' from Fleetwood Mac on new release vinyl and the sound is superb, Tusk was not but that recording is down to poor mixing of the album. What a shame, none of this is Amazons fault or any Amazon traders fault ether.I will purchase the CD copy of this album from Amazon to compare and will let the Vinyl recording purchases know how i feel.
