Simply amazing and so thin as well.
Fantastic piece of kit, its so thin which astounds me how all that hardware can fit in such a thin device. Before hand i had last years Samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4 but sold that even though it was a great product i wanted to go back to ipad which beforehand i had a ipad 2. This ipad is great. its super fast, the screen is clear and the battery lasts around 9-10 hours during heavy usage for me but if i dont the standby time lasts a long time. Also with ios 9 coming out this autumn which will introduce multi tasking to the ipad air 2 finally this product will be a must buy. Also the app store has million if not billions of apps to choose from which is a wider variety than Google play. All in all great device and would definitely recommend to all walks of life.

Amazing, Light, Battery lasts forever.
Of course it's marvellous it's an Apple product. My first iPad even though I'm an Applephile that has been using Apple since they launched the first Macs back in 1984.This is beautiful, the screen is amazing, the battery seems to last for ever and it is so light it is comfortable to read. Older iPads are a bit on the heavy side, but this is very very light.A great buy, at a superb price too

Excellent device as usual
It's a real shame that when you buy these devices after a couple of years you are limited with what you can do with them, I had the first generation IPAD, the internet didn't work so much as it kept crashing, you couldn't buy apps for it anymore so could only play the games that were originally downloaded for it, even then several failed to open. In the end I gave it to my parents for the games. Surely Apple can update the Safari browser and other elements, my device was still in superb condition. On this basis I have given the product 4 starsI use my IPAD all the time for my work, have got loads of books on it for quick reference. I think these devices are lovely to use although somewhat expensive, the interface is so smooth, the pages flow, the screen is crystal clear. The only other downside is the battery life, am surprised at how quick the battery drains, I find I'm charging it every couple of days

Excellent product and supplier
Just retired so needed to get my own iPad as had previously used one via work. I opted for the Air2 , which I did not have at work, and so glad I did as it is great to have the finger touch option and the faster speed. This company was the best price available and I wasn't sure whether to buy on line but I should not have worried as it arrived quickly and I've had no problems at all

remarkably disappointing!
I head up a games tech company with over 120 million customers and have some 20 Android devices and 6 iOS (Apple) pads and phones. iOS is losing market share so we have dropped it in favour of Android. However sometimes an app you need runs on iOS but not Android and the app we wanted did not run well on our slightly old iPad, so we upgraded to this Air 2... but it showed the same issues!I was gobsmacked how poor this device is. I can only guess that Apple have gone cheap on the WiFi support as we have 5 Wifi networks that all our Android devices talk to easily (no special adjustments). 2 of these the iPad cannot even see. 1 it claims has no internet connection (which it clearly does) and the other 2 its capacity to hold the connection is poor. When it does run the transfer rate is very poor. The app we needed does now run on Android so happily we have dedicated the vastly superior Samsung 10.1 2014 to run it.I'm not buying another iPad!

Was it worth it?
I invested in the new air 2 to replace my old iPad 2 my honest opinion is it was not worth the extra. The battery life on the air 2 is poor compared to the old version 2 and it really does nothing any better! Yes it has touch and is lighter thinner but all of that is just bling does not add any real value. The air 2 is supposed to be faster but I can not say I have noticed any real difference. The iPad is a great tool and probably the best tablet device but if you have an older model the switch is really not worth the outlay.

You may need some expensive adaptors
Early days yet, but the Air 2 is a considerable improvement on my old iPad 2 in terms of picture quality. This is important to me as I like to use it to download and judge photos from my cameras when I am away.I am not certain about the provenance of this particular item - there was an absolutely minimal amount of 'how to get started' and similar information and that is all in central European languages - nothing in English. I assume that Amazon will support the guarantee if needed. The big disappointment is the false information I received from Apple. I asked one of their advisers, in an on-line chat, if the 2 (expensive) adaptors I already had for the iPad 2 (1) to read photo cards and (2) to connect with my TV via an HDMI cable would work if I bought an Apple Lightning Adapter to 30 Pin Cable. The answer was an unequivocal 'Yes'. This turned out to be a lie - I can download photos OK but trying to connect the HDMI cable results in 'this device is not supported' - so that is £40 + which will have to be spent on yet another adaptor if I want mirror imaging on the TV.
