Necessity is the mother of invention or in this case, inventiveness
Recently for my foray back into Large Format photography, I purchased a FUJINON 180mm f5.6 Large Format lens the came with no lens caps, neither front nor rear. The front was no problem. It had a threaded 67mm filter ring and I had a few 67mm lens caps that would grip filter ring threads with no problem. The rear element was a horse of a different color. The rear lens opening was smooth on the inside and there was nothing for a thread gripping feature on a lens cap to grip. And to make the situation a bit more difficult was without any threads, any lens cap employed would need to be a slip-on variety and the rim’s outer diameter was 51mm, a bit of uncommon size in my experience. So after looking around, I found this 51mm slip-on lens cap and ordered it hoping it would work. Well it fits perfectly, slips on smoothly and holds fast until it is slipped off just as smoothly. I’ve always heard necessity is the mother of invention or in this case, inventiveness.

Works as it Should
This item fits quite tightly which definitely keeps it from falling off my telescope. The downside, it is nearly impossible to fit to the scope when the temps are in the low 40's. Once the scope warms up, the caps fits as before. Except for transport, I don't put the cap on until everything warms up anyway, so it really isnt too much of a problem. Would buy again if I lose this one.

I don't get the good reviews. Mine were completely unusable.
Product description specifically says "Diameters are the inside dimensions of the lens cap. This corresponds with the outside diameter of the lens (or filter) which is covered with the lens cap."Well, that's just not true. I ordered 37&46mm sizes. The 37's showed up first, and the outside diameter of the cap is the same as the filter, not the inside. So it simply cannot be made to go over the filter. Period. I contacted the seller through Amazon and never heard back.I was still waiting for the 46's and assumed I had an odd lot defect as they were so grossly off base. But the 46's were only marginally better. It takes so much pressure to make them fit, that I fear a slip of the thumb would actually break the glass in the filters. In that the seller was silent on my return request, I even tried cutting slots in the perimeter to loosen up the 37's. They are in the trash now.The 46's will go on, but are so tight they force themselves off in only a few minutes.Worthless product, and no response from the vendor. So $50 for two sets of each shot....

Snug fit on my Sandmarc filters.
I bought a Sandmarc 58 mm lens for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and a set of hybrid PL/ND filters that fasten onto the lens. I needed a lens cap to put over filter when I carry the assembled parts in a bag. This 63mm cap does the job. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because a bit expensive for a simple piece of plastic.

Great slim profile cap for my lens if you carry in a bag
I ordered this for my Fuji 23mm F/2.8 pancake lens. I needed to shave of a few millimeters for sling bag fit, because the OEM lens cap is just too thick for a small lens like that. The fit is really good. Just be careful and do not turn on the camera with the cap on if you have the same setup as me, because the lens does move elements externally right under the cap, which might damage your lens. FWIW, the lens can be easily modified to accept a tether, but I kinda like the fact that it doesn't have a hole. I should note that I would not use this cap with this lens if you plan on carrying the camera out of the bag (e.g. strapped around your neck or whatever) - I think it will come off.

this was the best I could find at 67mm to serve as a ...
Bought this as a replacement cap for my Olympus FCON-T01 Fisheye lens. I lost my Olympus lens cap while hiking. After trying to get a replacement cap for my fisheye, I discovered that Olympus does not sell a replacement cap and the large 65mm accessory lens for the Olympus TG-1, TG-2 and TG-3 rugged cameras. So, this was the best I could find at 67mm to serve as a replacement. It is too large for the Olympus fisheye lens, however, I modified the cap by molding strips of electrical tape around the edges of the cap at 4 corners and building up the thickness by a couple millimeters so that the cap actually fits snugger and more securely on the lens than the original OEM cap. Otherwise, its just a plastic lens cap like the original. Cheap and does what its supposed to, protect the glass of a very cool little accessory lens for my Olympus TG-1.

They work fine. They're way over-priced. Try 2mm bigger than your filter size.
Fits well and doesn't fall off like pinch-type caps, but there are two problems.First and most obvious, they are horribly over-priced. It's a simple plastic molding and ought to cost about three bucks.Second, and more serious, their sizing is completely non-standard. As far as I know, in 30 years of experience, all other lenscaps are sized like filters. That is, a lens that takes 49mm filters usually takes a 49mm cap. NOT SO WITH THESE! On these Kaiser caps, the size is the inside diameter of the cap, so that, for instance, Pentax film lenses that take 49mm filters need a 51mm Kaiser cap. Presumably Nikon lenses that take 52mm filters will need a 54mm Kaiser cap. In general, try a size about 2mm bigger than the filter size of the lens. You want the outside diameter of your lens, NOT the filter size. There are so many complaints here about customers having gotten the wrong size that you would think the seller would want to make this more clear.Anyway, I got the right size on the second try, and the caps work well, but I won't be buying any more at the current price.

Ottima qualità del materiale e si inserisce perfettamente sull'obiettivo.

Excellent
If you want a lens cap which doesn't fall off then look no further. These Kaiser lens caps are relatively expensive but are worth the extra cost. It fits snugly over the lens and can't be displaced easily. Buy 2mm larger than the thread size of your lens ie 45mm for a lens with a 43mm filter thread.
