I've tried the comfort (8C) pads and these race (8R) ones and there's no comparison. These race pads stop you quicker, fade less, last longer and are quieter you too. These have plenty power for a 23kg electric mountain bike with an 80kg rider, with stopping power to spare front and rearJust the wear rate makes them well worth the money over the comfort pads because they simply last so much longer.You'll want good grippy tyres for these pads to do them justice
