I'm very pleased with this lamp. It is a bit tipsy on the carpet but where I have it there's no chance of it being bumped. A slightly larger base would be an improvement. I saw that there was more than one seller with what appeared to be the same design. The prices varied significantly and so I used the reviews to differentiate. I paid more and received solid parts that are well made. So I'm happy in thinking that I made a good choice.I didn't set up to use the foot switch. Instead I left the foot switch in the "on" position and I put in an Etekcity remote switch at the wall outlet. Fantastic combination.

It is a little top heavy and requires assembly but it’s not hard to do. The base has a little flaw; small raised area, looks like its from a screw on the underside but the value is GREAT!

I like the look

My husband did not like a table lamp blocking his view of our picture window but needed a light by his recliner. This was just what I wanted as I have a very contemporary decor. I was especially pleased with how well-balanced the lamp was even though it sits on thick textured carpeting. Hubby was afraid the floor pedal would be inconvenient but we placed it right next to his chair and it easily pushed with his hand without having to get up from his recliner.

I purchased this lamp over a year ago. It sits in a den and is used only when my husband reads. Yesterday he walked into the room and the shade was sitting on the floor! The wire that is attached to the bulb base just snapped. The weight of the fixture must have worn it out over time. I do not recommend this lamp if you plan on having it long term.

I’ve had this lamp for a couple of months and it works great and looks very good with any style of decorating. I looked for a long time for a lamp like this that didn’t cost over $100 and this definitely is good value for your money. Would recommend

This lamp was super easy to assemble, even for someone who has little experience putting furniture together. I love the sleek look and the sturdiness of the lampshade. Everything came packaged in a very protective manner so there was no damage when it arrived.

Did anyone have issues attaching the socket ring to the lamp once the shade and light bulb were on?I love the lamp and was super excited it was so easy to assemble until I wasn’t able to attach the shade to the lamp.
