The media could not be loaded. When I opened the box, I was shocked to see a 60-watt power SmallRig Bi colour COB light in an insanely tiny form factor. It weighs only 650 grams with rechargeable 3400mAh battery built-in. Awesome is the first word that came out of my mouth.This SmallRig RC 60B Lite Version is a strip down version of RC 60B, which comes with a whole range of extra accessories for an additional £30ish pounds.This COB light has 60 Watts power LED light rated at 11200 Lux at 1 metre distance. It is a Bi colour light ranging from 2700 warm to 6500 cool Calvin colour temperature scale. There are 2 knobs and a mode selector switch by the IPS LED display panel/screen. The best technological advantage this SmallRig COB light has over the competitive brands is that the ability to display estimated battery life in real time depending on the intensity so you will always have clear indication of battery life left.Battery life on 100% intensity will give you a run time of 40 to 45 minutes, at 10%, it will give you 3 hours. I also love intuitive light controls clearly labelled and easy to operate. CCT knob for colour temperature control and INT knob is luminous intensity control. The Mode Selector button is to choose 9 light effects, but I am not a big fan of effects, perhaps more fun for video content creation.It is super lightweight and tiny that you can carry it in your camera bag easily and can be mounted on any compact light stand without any issues, even in a windy outdoor shoot.It comes with a very decent quality reflector, which amplifies the intensity of light. Light is beautiful at my preferred 5600 daylight colour temperature as well as warm 3000. It can be plugged into a 100watts PD USB C charger for charging or using it as a constant light source. Fan is ultra quiet, so no problem of noise interference in videos.Cons: Like I mentioned earlier that SmallRig RC60B comes with nice case, a grip handle, and extra battery mount, so basically I would rather get that full version than this Lite Version being offered as rest of the light is same. Also, there is no App support for controlling the light if it was mounted overhead or bit further away. To adjust simple intensity settings, I will have to bring it down, adjust, then I hope the settings are correct. Last but not least there is no power adopter included hence it will be an extra cost to add 100w USB adopter.Also, SmallRig has used a proprietary ring mount for modifiers, so you can not use your existing modifiers. SmallRig own lightbox for this light will set you back extra £40.Overall, I love the awesome compact and lightweight size as well as beautiful light it provides with simple controls this light offers. Price is also very reasonable for rechargeable battery-operated constant Bi colour light.

Over the last few months I’ve tested a number of very similar video lights, and all have impressed me in their own ways. The Smallrig has stood out for being so portable and ready to grab and go. Unlike the other lights this one has a built-in battery that’s good for 30-40 minutes of intensive use, so when I want a unit for a quick lighting job this is the one I grab as there’s not need to faff around with plugging in mains adapters. The unit is easy to operate and the dials to control the brightness and tone of the lights are chunky and responsive. Although very similar to two of the units I already have, I’ve found the Smallrig just that little bit nicer to use. I think it looks good tooThe power on and eco mode buttons are on the rear, as is the USB-C charging port. The two chunky dials and display are on the right as you look at it from the front. Underneath is a standard tripod mounting screw. You get a detachable reflector, a good length 3m charging cable and a protection cover. I would like to have seen a more sturdy storage case rather than just the box it came in, but that’s something I’ve found with all of these lights.Overall though I’ve been very impressed with it and highly recommend it.

La portabilidad es completa.* Los reguladores de potencia y temperatura van en una pantalla led (que por lo tanto se verá en un ambiente oscuro de rodaje). Muy importante cuando hay que reproducir las condiciones de iluminación en tomas sucesivas. Una potencia de 57% es exactamente eso; en focos con rueda giratoria replicar exactamente la misma luz es imposible.* El indicador de batería restante es en minutos estimados en función de la potencia seleccionada. En cuanto varías la potencia, el indicador se adapta y te muestra la nueva duración estimada.* Es muy manejable y cómodo. Compacto y ligero.Una pena que no sea parte de una familia con potencias superiores, ya que el siguiente de la marca (100 W) es diferente, sin batería incorporada necesitando V-Mount y en otro rango de precios.Muy contento con la compra.

...für sein Einsatzgebiet – bei Ein-Mann-Interviewdrehs, als ergänzendes Licht bei größeren Sets etc. Eine Art lichttechnisches Schweizermesser, das man wegen der geringen Größe und Leichtigkeit immer im Kamerarucksack dabei haben kann. Ich verwende ein ARZOPA USB C Ladegerät 65W als Netz- und Ladegerät, teils am Verlängerungskabel, und das lädt schnell und sicher. Das Laden hat aber auch mit einem 35W-Ladegerät geklappt, also am besten probieren, ob man nicht eh schon ein passendes hat. Dazu nutze ich einen permanent am Gerät montierten Manfrotto-Schirmneiger und Elinchrom Schirme, auf einem kompakten und leichten Lampenstativ.

Je cherchais une lampe vidéo pour mes projets de tournage, et je suis tombé sur la lampe vidéo COB 60W de SmallRig. J'ai tout de suite été impressionné par le fait qu'elle dispose d'une batterie intégrée de 3400mAh. Pas besoin de se battre avec des câbles ou des batteries externes encombrantes; elle est prête à l'emploi, ce qui me fait gagner du temps et m'évite des tracas. Elle tient bien 45 minutes à pleine puissance, ce qui est suffisant pour la plupart de mes sessions. Et si je suis à court de batterie, le mode ECO permet de la faire durer plus longtemps.La recharge rapide par USB-C est également très pratique. Avec un chargeur PD 100W, je peux recharger la batterie très rapidement, même pendant que j'utilise la lampe. Cela signifie moins de temps d'arrêt pendant mes séances, et je peux continuer à filmer sans soucis. Le câble de 3 mètres inclus dans l'emballage me donne aussi une grande liberté de mouvement, ce qui est essentiel pour ajuster la lumière à différents angles.La lampe utilise une monture mini Bowens, ce qui est un bon point, mais il n'existe pas suffisamment d'accessoires compatibles avec cette monture. J'aurais aimé avoir plus de choix d'accessoires comme des softbox ou des grilles pour personnaliser l'éclairage. Autre petite déception : il n'y a pas de contrôle Bluetooth. Avoir la possibilité de contrôler la lampe à distance aurait été vraiment utile, surtout quand on travaille seul. Malgré ces quelques défauts, cette lampe vidéo reste un excellent choix pour les créateurs de contenu qui recherchent un éclairage portable et polyvalent. Je la recommande, mais j'espère voir une gamme d'accessoires mini Bowens plus étendue à l'avenir, ainsi qu'une option de contrôle à distance pour encore plus de flexibilité.
