U-Lactin Dry Skin Lotion - 16 oz.

Fantastic lotion! I've tried the much more popular Amlactin and found it really unpleasant to use with little to no benefit (with a whole year of use). I've been using this for over a month now, and it really does help attract and hold moisture in my skin. Amlactin left my skin feeling damp and seemed to just sit on the surface of my skin without much effect. U Lactin is just right, it absorbs with a good rub, and immediately holds in moisture. I apply this straight after a shower before bed, this gives it a little time to really absorb. I can say I've seen a 65% improvement to the health of my skin overall.I suffer from mild eczema/ichthyosis all over, I also have patches of eczema on my face and acne (the worst combo skin). Well, this lotion has improved all of these, but especially my face. It's helped to stave off my facial eczema, improving the health of my skin and thereby reduce my acne! I think the fact that this is not strictly a 'moisturiser' but a Urea based humectant, is really the best thing for both my drying eczema and my oily acne. It helps to keep my skin moisture levels up and at the same time contains no oil. Superb!There's no cure for eczema but I've now found something that really keeps it under control when it does flare up. I use this daily on my face and have not had any side effects at all. I don't have sensitive skin, so I would recommend people who do to do a patch test on the side of your face before applying to the whole. It's also only 2% lactic acid, so sun cream isn't as necessary if you aren't super fair skinned.Sadly this is only available via the US and I have to ship it over. I really hope someone starts to stock it here, I can really see a lot of people benefiting from this. It's also cheaper than Amlactin!I'll update this review in a few months time. Fingers crossed!

I suffer from KP & this stuff calms my skin and lessen the bumps. It doesn’t get rid of the redness though. I’ve only been using it for 3 days and I’ve seen improvements on my skin - i use salicylic acid soap in the shower which i think works amazing with this lotion. This lotion is very watery which works with my VERY dry skin - it’ll be better if it’s a little thick to make it longer lasting. I would say it keeps me moisturised for 8 hours

This lotion is the best product for my KP that I have ever encountered! I have used it twice daily for 3 weeks (in the morning and after showering in the evening) and my skin is looking significantly clearer, brighter and smoother. The rough, inflamed bumps I used to have on my upper arms, legs, and back have faded to resemble a mild case of freckles. For over 10 years I have tried everything to get rid of my KP including coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, glycolic acid, and Ameliorate- U-Lactin is the clear winner. It's worth every penny- I will definitely be repurchasing!

I’ve been using this for 2 months and there has been NO change to the KP on my legs. An absolute waste of money and not even moisturising.
