Everything you basically need you have to pay extra
Basic scanner if I would have read it better I wouldn’t have bought it. Have to pay for the good stuff. If you need a basic scanner with no resets needed I guess it will work

Solid quality with great performance, maintenance resets for a cost, more features and diag.
The OBD2 Scanner S5 by THINKCAR, is a super helpful, good quality tool to help any car owner asses the what’s going on, so they can determine the next step. Let’s take a closer look at what may or may not make this a good choice for your situation.I. Quality – This is a good quality machine that looks and feels like its sufficient for the job. The outer protection seems like it’s well suited to handle being banged around a bit during use.II. Performance – This is a solid mid-level diagnostic tool that can do all the simple things with ease and even offers a higher level of diagnostic digging then many others. It’s designed to make it very easy to reset common maintenance lights, such as oil, breaks and TPM’s, making its so simple for at home maintenance. Unfortunately, you’ll have to sign up for a yearly charge to do this and that fee is dependent on how many features you want to unlock. Its compatible with many makes and models to accommodate all the cars at your house. It’ll dig down somewhat deeply into the diagnoses world, but only about mid deep compared to the high end scanners. However, its quick and easy to use for all the things it can do.Overall, this is a great tool that provides a lot of value if you’re looking for diagnoses help or warning light resets and is capable of much more for a fee. It’s provides more depth than most people would even venture to go at home. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Large screen, full featured OBD2 Scanner
The ThinkScan Plus is a great addition to my toolset. It is ergonomic with the side handle and it has a large responsive touch screen. It is full-featured but you do have to pay to unlock some of them. It is tailored to professional use and having a manufacturer system login allows you to perform functions that a dealer would. I wish the cable was a bit longer, but it is long enough to comfortably use while seated in the driver's seat. It will not reach the passenger seat. You do have to learn how to use it. I used it for live monitoring and data capture on a Jeep Gladiator and it works great.
