Some unprotected glass in the webcam area for a 5i, and maybe 1-2mm around, but not enough for me to remove stars, this brand definitely shaped the protector to fit the not-quite-rectangle glass of the laptop. It would have been great to have a plastic guide frame included to just snap onto the laptop, but afaik that's only found for phones, and this did come with manually-placed sticker guides (I've done enough installs I skipped the instructions, but if it didn't say, I recommend laying down the unpeeled protector onto the surface to be protected, line it up carefully, then use the sticker guide to label the corners and/or edges of at least 2 connected sides). For the 5i, it was easy enough to just align the protector right next to the bottom frame, so just a matter of lining up the left and right sides if the 1-2mm gap is noticeable to you. It also didn't come with a disposable lint-free dry towelette, but I guess that's a cost saving measure nowadays and it still came with a decent size lint-free reusable microfiber cloth that did the job. Oleophobic, with very nice smooth finger slide. High clarity, but also crystal clear surface that will reflect light sources (unavoidable tradeoff). Really slick for the digital pens that work on the laptop I put it on, but again, unavoidable tradeoff for the crystal clear high clarity surface. Otherwise, a pretty standard tempered glass screen protector, and glass screen protectors are probably the 2nd easiest type of protector to apply to larger surfaces, 2nd only to flexible rubbery sheets that need a little soapy water to apply but are high friction surfaces for finger touch or pen input. A bit easier to apply than anti-glare screen protectors if trying to avoid dust, and anti-glare is excellent vs light sources, finger touch and fingerprint hiding/resistance, and for pen use, but reduce clarity.

I bought this for my my Lenovo Ideapad. I had also ordered a $50 one through Lenovo customer support, but it did not correctly fit the 14 inch screen. This one does, and certainly protects the screen. The only caveat is that I still got bubbles after applying it as carefully as I could. They give you two, so I can always try again, or wait until this one gets worn. For the cost, it is still worth it, since I do not want a damaged screen.

Make sure you take the time to clean your screen very thoroughly and prevent dust from getting on it before sticking the cover on. Trust me, it's worth it. I had almost no bubbles after applying and the few that did happen were easy to remove. You will sacrifice a small amount of the crispness of the display once it's on, but it's worth it to not have to deal with the screen glare anymore. Screen is also much easier to keep clean from fingerprints and smudges too!

Too big for the idea pad flex 5 14 inch even though it says it's made for that laptop specifically!

I placed other brands of screen protectors on 2 vehicles and 3 tablets of various sizes. They seemed more flexible if i remember correctly. They also turned out pretty nice if i say so myself. This one is on a laptop and loaded with bubbles. I don't think i could have more bubbles if i tried. Maybe i need a clean-room. I'll probably remove it and put up with the glare of the shinny screen.

I'm so confused by the description since it says it fits Lenovo Flex 5 14" touchscreen. However, it goes on to clarify the gen # and model year? Perhaps this is a wording issue? I'm not sure how many different Flex 5 models there are, but it would be helpful to clarify the different models and years in a bulleted list instead of a long run-on sentence so that there is no confusion. I will say there is probably some "buyer" error involved with this transaction (thus the four stars instead of 3), but also, it needs not to be this difficult. A suggestion. The screen protectors seemed legit and came with cleaning wipes and cards. There is a video the QR code takes you to for installation, and it is easy to follow and understand the computer-generated voice.

definitely not "9h hardness." 1 shattered before I even put it on and I was by no means careless or mishandling it.

Liked how easy it was to install

This is the screen protector you should be getting. It fits perfectly, edge-to-edge unlike most of the other ones that only protect the actual screen part. It does a great job of reducing glare from light sources and the sun (one of the attached pictures was taken directly behind the sun). Fingerprints are practially invisible when you use the touch screen. The touch screen is way better now with or without the stylus. It glides effortlessly and smoothly. The only negative point I can give is that it's really hard to install it without getting air bubbles. It took me more than 1 hour to do it perflectly and even then you can see a little air bubble I can't get rid of in the top right corner. If this would come with an installer frame like some phone screen protectors do it would be perfect. I've purchased dozens of different screen protector from all over amazon with lots of good reviews but none were this good. Most of the other ones only cover a portion of the screen, you can see fingerprints and some were even already scratched when I received them. This one had none of these problems. You need to purchase this one. All the other ones are bad in comparison. This is the only one that works.
