Great protection for your hardback books!
Top notch stuff! A good protector for the cover of your hardbacks. Thick enough to protect the covers but super see through and nice and shiny, it makes older books look brand new and new books look like a million dollars. Easy to apply, you just place the dust jacket in as far as it will go then fold over at the bottom. This protect my books for decades. I bought the 10" Brodart and it's a good size for SFBC hardback books (21.5cm/8.5" tall) and for normal (24cm/9.5" tall) sized hardbacks. Will be buying more for the rest of my books.A side note is it is a bit pricey but my understanding is it's an imported product that's not to well known over here in England. Hopefully as it gains in popularity the price will go down, but even so, it's still worth it just to protect your books.

Good buy
Easy to use and has fitted most books I’ve covered. Very effective in protecting the dust jacket or preventing further deterioration.

Good quality
The quality is spot on, and it's very easy to protect your book cover. When fitted, it looks like a library book and the surface is sturdy enough to do what it is supposed to do. I did covered eight books and did not see any sign of paper breakage or tearing as you might assume with a poor quality product. The only thing that did disappoint me was the length of the sheet, which was too small for my needs. When I saw 500+mm I naturally assumed it would be ok, but my book was 6.14" x 9.21" (546 pages) and I used templates from Ingrams and Amazon KDP. In each case it was about 30mm too short. Probably for a standard 6"x9" book up to 550 pages this will be ideal. apart from this slight mismatch, the product, quality-wise is great.

Easy to use, good quality
Just bought this product, so a first time user review. I buy a number of 'used' books and dust jackets are in various state of repair, so to speak. Don't want to use celotape etc so gave this a go.Instructions are straight forward, no sticky bits etc, just good old fashioned bend things over and press flat.My dust jacket was in 3 peices, so maybe should have used a different one for my first attempt. I used the 10" plastic cover for a book 8 1/2" tall, 5 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep. More than enough. I didn't get the dust jacket snug against the 'hinge' of the jacket cover and so the cover when fitted to the book is ever so slightly larger than the book. Give myself 8 out of 10, but can do better.I have placed the book under 5/6 heavy books to help get the plastic cover to firm up and get the creases set in.The cover consists of a white paper sheet 10" high by 21" wide. This is attached to a clear plastic film along the wide edge and is 11 3/4" high, so extends beyond the white paper, this allows to use the full 10" if required withh a clear plastice fold back after placing the dust cover.Hope that all makes sense, when you have it in front of you it all falls into place.Very pleased with the purchase

Work like a charm.
Very good quality and easy enough to apply. If you fold any excess covering firmly (I used the curved back of a spoon rather than anything sharp) it will hold a pretty good crease line. They look tidy once on, some of my older dust jackets were quite tatty, but these have given them new life and look beautiful on the book shelf.

Bit tricky but once you get the hang of it ...
Having borrowed a number of books from the local public library, I wanted to cover my cookbooks and some antiquarian books with something that would protect and keep the original covers visible and yet not adhere to it. This fits the bill, although I did have to check out the online tutorial from the company to work out how to put them on. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy peasy lemon squeezy to put the covers on. I have achieved the look I was aiming at and protected my books. I would just say that the plastic is quite"crackly" like a cellophane rather than a hardened plastic, which I suppose I wasn't expecting. All in all it rather put me in mind of being at school when you had to cover books in old wallpaper ....!

superb product
This does exactly what it says - strong, easy to use and elegant, the covers preserve the book jackets and make them things of beauty. Well worth the cost!
