Been using the radio for a few weeks. I like the sound quality, well good enough for me. I’ve mainly been using DAB rather than FM. Connects well provided signal is good enough.I appreciate its chunky, solid construction but the radio is not too big (as I wanted). Useful carrying handle. The light & ‘reading lamp’ work fine but are more for use when other systems/kit not available, as I intended.I’m not as young as I was so the clarity/size of station identification is helpful & easy to read. The ‘press button’ controls are a nice size work well. I hope they maintain their robustness for if anything these could be the weakest link.Battery life I think is acceptable but certainly supplement with conventional batteries too. Recharge time perhaps a bit slow but I tend to charge overnight so no drama.Took a bit of time getting use to the operation, so the instructions are very useful. Quickly becomes intuitive for the processes one does most often e.g. changing to different stored stations. Guess I’ll need to refer back to instructions to remind myself of how to use other functions.Very pleased with the purchase.

Starting with the negs... Colour, nasty, off putting green. Really ugly. Did I say ugly? The strap, too little but very easy to replace. It also has a personal alarm with a red light, pointless. The presets for radio stations, still only managed one, hard hell to do. Too much pressing one button.The positives.... masses.... Charge, from USB... It was charged a couple of weeks back, used it around 3..4 hours a day over a week and half, using DAB signal only. Reception, scanned channels and it picked up masses. We are 80 miles from home now and have not had to re- scan. In fact, not had to extend the areal since new at any point.It has solar power which shows as charging, even on a very cloudy day but not sure if its very good. I can say, it also winds up and that does indeed work. One one min winding has left it going half hour now and it's still going. Also uses battery's... not put any in.Torch and led lights, both work even if radio off, quite good for tent etc...It has USB to charge phone, works very well.Volume.... quite good, loud enough for normal use in kitchen on walks etc, has ear phone plug.Very good kit but lord it is ugly.

Very well made, nice litlle radio. Hard wearing plastic and easy to use functions not very long battery life which is dissapointing. Not sure what the wind up bit ACTUALLY winds up. I wound it up for 3-4 minutes but in the end i had to charge it from a plug. That said im happy with it as its cheap and cheerful, and gets all the channels i need. It has a strap which is only to carry in your hand and not to go over your shoulder. Has torch, a solar panel, sos button??, time/date, charging point, usb socket and headphone jack.

I bought another brand of radio with similar features but I could not get any stations to work on DAB and the radio display instructions were all in German! After spending over an hour trying to sort it, despite the paper instruction sheet being in English, I returned it to Amazon for a refund.I ordered this as a replacement and it's like chalk and cheese! This product has crystal clear sound and the DAB stations were found immediately. All the features work well - I found it a bit tricky to store the radio pre-sets - but got the hang of it and now sorted.The wind-up feature actually works well and also glad I chose one with back up AAA batteries as well as the inbuilt lithium one. It does charge my mobile phone too. I don't know if the solar power function will do much.The lights are powerful and could be quite useful. The SOS alarm is loud - I set it off accidentally!Overall a very good product - I was pleasantly surprised just how good it is, especially after the poor alternative I had previously purchased. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this as the world is getting a more dangerous place, the government also advised people to have an emergency radio. I can also use this every day and because it has multiple energy inputs know it will always be operable. As for the radio its self I found it very easy to set up and add pre-set stations to the memory on both FM and DAB settings, the sound quality is decent for such a small radio and I will be able to use this daily so don't mind paying a little extra for DAB and the LCD display. I am very happy with my purchase and cannot really fault it at all so can highly recommend to others.

I recommend this product. It receives waves in places where you are without a signal. Solar is brilliant. It charges in all weather conditions. S.O.S. It works without a problem. Bravo to the Manufacturer.Regards

For the cost it's perfect for a back up Radio, so not to rely on having to buy batteries for my other radio.The plus side it's a powerbank for my additional other back ups, though it takes upto 10 hours for a full recharge from flat, once it's gets to a certain battery level i put on charge within 5 hours it's topped up which follows most other powerbanks of the same battery capacity.Both reading light and search light are a pretty good light at low & high level.

J'adore ! Vraiment super machine. Les gens qui râle sur le système de charge solaire n'ont probablement pas lu la notice. Cela permet de ralentir la décharge mais pas plus. La manivelle, les piles, et la batterie permettent d'avoir une bonne autonomie.Moi je recommande ! Le seul truc que je ne comprends pas c'est l'emplacement de la sangle qui peut être gênant mais ce n'est pas dramatique.

De radio ontving direct DAB+ en FM stations, gewoon in huis met betonnen wanden.Via usb-c kan je de interne accu laden.Uit de beschrijving begrijp ik dat de zwengel 350 mA levert en de zonnecel 50 mA.Dus laden en onderhouden van de accu moet goedkomen in geval van geen elektriciteit.

Bra liten radio med många egenskaper (radio, kompass, ladda mobiltelefoner med mera). Den kan laddas med sladd, sol och veva.

Apprezzo molto le diverse funzioni di questo apparecchio, che oltre ad essere buona compagnia in vari momenti (lavori all'esterno ecc), si rivela utile per diverse situazioni quali la necessita' di una lampada in caso di blackout o semplicemente per illuminare i telecomandi durante la visione di un film. Poi e' anche un powerbank, e inoltre la ricarica solare e quella a manovella nel loro piccolo possono garantire un minimo di autonomia in caso di necessita'. Intelligente l'idea di lasciare anche uno slot per normali batterie non ricaricabili, perche' offre la possibilita' di avere energia in caso di emergenza, tenendo un pacchetto di batterie nello zaino (se si fa campeggio o escursioni). L'audio ovviamente non e' Hi Fi, ma nessuno pretenderebbe tanto, pero' la qualita' e buona e ben distante da quell'effetto "sordo" di tante radioline portatili. La gestione dei vari menu' e semplice, e volendo non servirebbe neppure il manuale se non per un paio di funzioni (compressore audio ecc) che richiedono quantomeno di sapere a cosa servono. In ogni caso il manuale e' in diverse lingue italiano compreso. Insomma, premesso che la radio e' arrivata da poco e l'ho testata solo per tre giorni, al momento non riesco proprio a trovare un difetto. La ricezione DAB non e' sempre garantita (l'antenna deve essere sempre alzata) e a volte la si perde cambiando posizione, ma questo e' un problema comune a tutte le radio digitali (presente anche nella mia JBL e nella mia Sony). Per questo non ritengo questo fattore motivo per abbassare il voto, che per me e' sicuramente 5 stelle anche per via del prezzo contenuto rispetto ad alcuni apparecchi di marca, ma di qualita' inferiore e con meno funzioni.
