This is well made with thick ABS plastic. I have not put it in the sun so I can not attest to how well it tolerates sun exposure. Not all ABS is made the same because sometimes it browns and looks like it has been torched and sometimes it does not. The stuff at HD is the worst at that, looking burnt after just a few months. But again I do not know about this one. Why is that important?It isn't if like me you have it inside a barn where the sun don't shine. At that this is great.

Plastic is pretty brittle and screws are awful but overall works for the need

Needed a junction box for routing cables through the roof of my camper. This little box is perfect. The advertised dimensions are accurate. It's easily customizable and sealable. Exactly what I was looking for!

Purchased this to hold some electronics outside. Using weatherproof grommets to route cables in and out via holes drilled in the bottom to prevent water ingress. This thing is nice! The seal is tight, and the included screws seem to be a metal that should resist corrosion. I'll be installing it in a place that does get some sunlight so i do anticipate the top layer of the ABS to decay over time.This is great for my purposes, looking forward to finishing the install.

This project box initially left me scratching my head. The lid had 8 holes, but only 4 screws were included. I worried there might be missing parts, but luckily, there were 8 additional screws hidden inside the box. Even better, the box also came with 8 little buttons that could be used to cover the holes if you didn't want to screw anything in.For my purposes, the screws were unnecessary. I bought some separate lid clamps to make it even faster to open and close the box. The box is thin plastic and cheap hardware (screws) compared to other brands. Not worth the price paid.
