BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN - Face & Body Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, No White-Residue for Melanin Rich Skin (2 Fl. Oz.)

I'm very dark--think Lupita Nyongo and Djimon Hounsou--and when I was younger I rarely wore sunscreen since they had zinc and were impossible to rub into my skin. And at my level of darkness and where I live--in the North of the United States--I'm not exactly drenched in sunlight and overly concerned about rays. If anything I'm Vitamin D deficient and need more uncovered time in the sun for the health factor. But I still decided to try this sunscreen a few years ago when it was gaining in popularity. My bottle expired, so I bought a new one for this year.Its true: there's no cast with this sunscreen! I also love that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating. I mostly use it on my face, neck, and chest if I'll be out in the sun during the hotter months and times of day. I don't have the worlds pickiest skin, but I haven't notice any acne after using it.The downside that many people have already noted is the size and the cost. It's not great for slathering on your entire body, unless you want to be buying bottles all summer. That said, I've found more mainstream brands that ofter mist-on sunscreens that sink into the skin without the white residue. I just wouldn't use them on the face, so overall it's a good compromise.

I am so glad I found Black Girl Sunscreen. Finally, a sunscreen that actually works for my skin without making me look like a ghost or feeling super oily. I went on a venture & bought several highly rated sunscreens focusing on facial sunblock. This product was great at moisturizing but also slightly oily. I break out easily and avoid putting oil on my face like the plague. I decided to use this on my body but not my face. In case you’re wondering my favorite on my face was Eucerin (not pictured) and second favorite for face was Cetaphil.

My mom had put me on to this sunscreen 2 years ago and I will say this is one of the best sunscreen for POC . It doesn’t leave any white residue it leaves ur skin shiny and glowly :)

I love that this doesn't leave that white cast but it's entire too greasy for me. I bought it simply for thr "black girl". I can't do the greasy look so I alternate between this and my Hawaiian tropical sunscreen

I’ve been using this product for awhile, only because I haven’t tried other sunscreens, but this one has been good to my skin and protective, so why switch.

Really don’t know tell you, just received only you it two days , it suppose protect you put on sun it’s suncream. So like any other sunscreen you put to protect you . Really don’t know want to say

Sunscreen covers very well, and it doesn't leave a white cast on my skin. it's not hard to massage into your skin it goes on really smoothly.
