We initially bought BETADINE Clear First Aid Spray because our new reptile friend arrived with mites. It was gentle enough to use on his delicate skin and helped soothe his irritated areas, prepping him for a healthy shed. It worked wonders! But now, we keep it stocked in our human first-aid kit as well. It's fantastic for minor scrapes and cuts – the fact that it's sting-free is a huge plus, especially for kids (or sensitive adults!). It cleanses wounds effectively and provides pain relief. It's become a staple in our household, both for our scaly friend and our human family. Highly recommend!

This clear version is so much easier to apply and clean compared to the original brown/yellow betadine. We used this on a large cut and it did not get infected so that's great! And it's extremely functional with the spray feature, versus using a gauze to apply the original version. This will last us a long time, so great value for the money.

My little 10 lbs. dog got attacked by a Pit Bull that ripped her side open, we took he to emergency vet and they cleaned it up put her under and stitched it shut, of course we followed all of the instructions, but it was our fault when it opened back up, we took her back and they did it again. with the same result. now being the two visits had cost $3,000.00 total, I got pet silver, betadine, raw manuka honey, and a stapler from amazon. did it myself and now it is healing fine

So easy to use and (hopefully) effective at preventing infection. Love that it is not dark orange/red.
