I tried out my pole on a couple of walks over the last 2 weeks. It does exactly what I bought if for. That is, to assist me when walking over field paths which can be quite rough. I am in my seventies and not as agile as I once was. I thought a pole would be very useful, particularly on steep or slippery downhill sections and it was. It gives you a good steady support and also I find helps when going uphill too. It's not the most robust design but seems strong enough for me. I picked a lightweight, foldable one that would go in my bag when not in use. I travel on public transport and a long rigid pole would be very cumbersome on a bus!. I am very pleased overall with it and would recommend it.

This looks on paper like a great product but the instructions are useless and even when you do work them out. The wiring holding the completed pole together doesn’t remain taught so the thing can’t be used for its intended purpose. I have returned and will opt for another brand.

I find it bit difficult to collapse the sticks: hurts finger or thumb. Luckily husband can do it for me or I use a solid item to press with eg coaster. Using the stick is great and helpful over difficult terrain.

It's a walking pole there's a pin missing will try and substitute one I can't be bothered to send it back.

Strong light and easy to adjust recomended

The mechanism is very cumbersome, instructions incomprehensible, and the wire inside won't stay taut so it falls to bits. I am going to return it.

Wanted a lightweight foldable walking pole. This would be ideal if you could actually assemble it. Instructions are impenetrable. Can't get the pole taut so it's a complete waste of money and unusable.
