Arrived in advance of advertised date and the quality of the sound exceeded my expectations

Excellent.

No problem with Madame Callas et al. However, the CDs sit in flimsy paper envelopes ( photocopy paper weight), and these sit in a cheap card wallet. To look after this musical investment I am going to have to buy my own double CD jewel case, which only on in pack of 5 minimum. So, add another £6 to the price. I am baffled, because I bought the Warner issue of Manon Lescaut, and that came in the proper jewel case. Shoddy!

I can't fault the recording, this is an excellent Tosca and Callas is on top form and there are plenty of reviews regarding the performance out there already.NO LIBRETTO!!!!which at this price (£15+ at the time of writing) for a 2 disc set is a liberty these days.Callas 5Warner Music 0Caveat Emptor.
