Just like the original one

Worked perfectly. Programming it myself was absolutely no trouble. A few caveats though: If your car is made after 2010 you will have to take it to dealer or a key shop to do the programming. Mine was a 2010 so I just made the cut. The dealer wanted to charge me $160 for a new key and fob. I ended up spending $38 of which $24 was for a new key and for the key shop to cut it and $14 was for the fob. I'd say that's pretty good savings. Note that when you program the fob you will have to program all of your fobs at the same time.

no battery in it or with it in package

The fob is well built, includes the battery, and is offered at a great price. However, my 2013 Chevy Express van does not have a key fob programming mode on the information screen. Prior model years have a mode that allows you to program fobs. The replacement fob kit that I needed has a OBD2 port plug that puts the vehicle into this mode.. I was able to reuse the buttons and the battery, so I kept it. Research your car make/model to determine if this will work. I would give 5 stars if it explained this better.

Had to get it programmed, luckily I knew someone. Locks and unlocks just like the original. My buddy said I could have programmed it myself if I had opted to buy the remote and OBD programmer, although this site says it can't be, he said it would have worked.

Works for 2019 Chevy Express. I had locksmith program this and cut keys that I also got on Amazon.

Have used this for over a year and still working strong. Original battery didn't last that long and the white symbols have rubbed off. You will need a scan tool to program to your vehicle.
