lovely tone and easy to play

I really have a great time with this hybrid tongue drum, Handpan. I was a bit worried when I ordered it because no reviews so I didn’t know if this C major drum will be good, as it is a bit pricey for me. But I decided to buy it because if I have a problem I can return it so no worries there. I was very impressed, looks great, feels great and the sound is beautiful. I will say two note are a little be off but doesn’t seem to bother me. I started to learn to play with my fingers, not there yet need practice but I do feel I making some progress and using the finger is less louder and at night is better. I’m very pleased with customer service and the delivery was spot on. Very happy customer. Thank you

The media could not be loaded. This MOOZICA 15 Inch Steel Handpan Tongue Drum is very beautiful, it sounds really mediative and relaxing. It is a very mindful experience learning to play this.It has 15 Notes in C Major 432hz Tongue and the Drum has a Octave Overtone Design.The instructions booklet however features a 9 note drum, which is very confusing.The Carrying Bag is lovely, well made, well padded and with a good strong zips, it is quite tight for the drum but it does go in.It is great that it has a rucksack design for easy carrying.

Now, let’s get this out of the way straight away. I’m not particularly musical. Therefore, I’m not going to be able to comment on this from a musical perspective. I got this because I thought it might be a nice way of introducing our little boy to a musical instrument.The first thing I noticed when taking this out of the box was how substantial it feels. You get a really well weighted and good looking instrument here. Play it with the included sticks and you get a lovely tone coming from it. Unfortunately, that’s about as far as my musical capability stretches! I tried with my fingers, as suggested, but didn’t get too far with that. The sticks worked much better for me. I imagine though, if you are buying one of these for a couple of hundred quid, you’re probably more adept at playing it than I am.Two negatives which I did pick up on though was that the first time I placed the drum in its bag, some of the stitches split on the carrying strap. That’s not great and I would probably have returned the item if Ihad paid full price for this. It’s a shame this happened, as the bag looks and feels pretty well made apart from this flaw.The other thing that I noted was that the included instructions didn’t refer to the version of the drum that I ordered. I ordered the 15” C major version. In the instructions, they refer to 13” and 14” models (see photo). These models do not marry up with the model that I received. This means that I was unable to attach the included note stickers. I went to the Moozica website to see if I could find any support there, but they currently only have kalimbas, pianos and guitars listed. I did a search for ‘handpan’, but the search came up with nothing!The woven string detailing look nice around the edges of the handpan. The string is manmade string though and has a bit of a cheap looking shine to it. I wonder if this might have looked nicer and more high end with natural fibres. That’s a personal preference though and no reason to mark this down though.
