When I first received this jacket, the battery worked fine. Shortly thereafter, it started glitching out. Since this was the "first generation" battery, and other reviews were reporting a glitchy battery, I contacted the company. THEY WERE GREAT!!! They immediately responded to my complaint and sent me a new battery. The jacket has worked wonderfully every since!! I use it during the cold, winter months and the battery holds a decent enough charge on medium setting...roughly 2-4 hours. The only thing you must do after shutting off the jacket, is disconnect the jacket from the battery pack, otherwise it does wear down the battery. I don't know why it does this but it's not a big deal to unplug it. I stand by this company as they have stood by their product and will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy to own their jacket. As for durability, it's got a thin, nylon shell which can easily tear. While most folks may not be conscientious about this, I am. Therefore, I don't wear it when hiking around snaggy, bushes. Also, with it being thin nylon and electric, I don't wear it in heavy rains. However, I have worn a raincoat over this jacket and have stayed dry & warm. Best purchase of a jacket in years!!! I bought another one as a gift for my sister. She loves hers, too! Thanks Venustas!

This jacket is a really nice winter coat, even before you factor in the heat. I love the sleeves that are elastic and keep the wind from coming under the cuff. The battery is a little heavy, but I carry a lot of stuff in my pockets so I am use to that. The battery does not last as long as I would hope, but while I am in the car it has the same charger as my cell phones so I just plug it in and I am good for the next outdoor adventure. It does heat really well and I love the heat on my neck. It was a great purchase and I am more than happy with it.

Bought this for my husband who works in the cold quite a bit, and he LOVES it. It’s very light weight, not big and bulky, so he is able to work easily while wearing it. It’s also a very nice looking jacket. Highly recommend.

Bought this to wear to Kentucky football game and never got cold! The blue is the perfect color to represent the Cats! I’m 5’3 and 140lbs. I got the medium so I could fit a hoodie underneath.

Very comfortable but the battery is not very good.

Love this jacket!!! Perfect for upstate new York winters! I walk 4 miles every day and I am toasty warm! The wind chill was 7 degrees and when I got home I was sweating! I wear sweatshirts under this but for normal conditions one sweatshirt you would be toasty!!!I bought the large because I wanted to be able to layer under it! Normally I am a medium.

I bought this jacket and the battery/warming feature was not working correctly. When I turned if off the button would blink rapidly and I could not get it to stop and could not turn it on again without unplugging the battery and starting over. It happened every time I tried to turn it off. I sent it back and received another one and it had the same problem. I called the company and got NO HELP whatsoever. The jacket fit nice and looked good but was defective. Both were defective. This is way below Amazon standards. My advice, do not buy this jacket or anything from this company.
