I will update on healing process, but it was a super easy and quick process to punch these through. These work perfectly for just piercing your lobes! So cute and not too painful. I did them myself. I would NOT recommend using these if you are trying to pierce cartilage. The posts are not sharp enough and not hollow & the gun causes blunt force trauma & could shatter the cartilage. However if you’re just looking for some cute lobe piercings this is a great way to not pay a ton of money and easily do it at home. Super happy with it

Earrings are just the right size for me. Had pierced ears but they closed because I didn't wear earrings for a long time. Turns out I am allergic to all metals but stainless steel & titanium. So, this was fast & easy. I cleaned my ears well with alcohol, & placed the needle where I wanted it. Do Not hesitate, push firmly. It is not spring loaded, so you do have to 'crunch' through. But, it does stop as the post hits the earring back. It really didn't hurt, just maybe a 'Huh?' & it was done. Slowly & gently remove the device (the clear plastic earring holders fall off). Done! Hardest thing was making sure the needle went straight throuh & not at an angle. So much better than ice & a needle!! No ice needed, but some might want to use to numb lobe first. Just be sure to clean with alcohol before piercing.

I like that the earrings are sterile surgical steel. They were a perfect size for my daughter.Negative would be the fact that the cartridge does not easily release the earring after you pierce the ear. If that were not the case, I would have given a 5 star review.

I purchased this item to re-pierce my one earlobe which closed after more than 30 years. The box has sealed 4 guns, each with an earring already loaded and encased in something like silicon, and alcohol prep pads. I don’t know how it’d work for an un-pierced earlobe, but it was very easy for me, as all I had to do was align the earring with the old piercing. I did a test first by piercing a piece of cork, just to know what to expect, and it worked perfectly. However, when it came to my own earlobe, I did hesitate too much and pressed the trigger very slowly, which caused it to get stuck. Luckily, my husband was home and all he had to do was to pry the earring out of the gun, which was effortless. My suggestion is to press the trigger confidently and swiftly. The earrings are cute and the back is rounded, which is great for me since I’m a side sleeper. I’ve showered with them and so far I see no changes in the material. I would recommend!

I purchased this SugarTang Ear Piercing Gun Kit to re-pierce holes in my ear lobes that had grown closed. This kit includes sterilized earrings and alcohol wipes. It was easy to align the earring post with the original piercing. I had my husband do this for me. It was quick, easy and painless. It was a quick, hard pinch. That's it. I used this in conjunction with piercing aftercare spray. I'm very happy with this kit.

My husband ordered one months ago to re-pierce his ears. Our kids had started asking to get their ears pieced as well and I wasn’t keen on spending a ton of money on my 4 year old’s ear piercing but I also didn’t want to go anywhere that used a gun. I loved that this came individually packed for single use. My husband pierced our daughter’s ears and they turned out great. As long as you are quick and don’t hesitate you can finish both ears before they even notice. He also did my second hole so our daughter could watch and see what was about to happen for her. It has been a few weeks and her earrings look great and are healing wonderfully. Just make sure you use the sanitizing wipe and wear gloves! Also the tiny earrings are the perfect dainty size for small ears.
