Good for Basic Optice Education
My 8 year old grandson and I am enjoying and learning from this. I had some basic optics decades ago in physics. Now he and I tear apart discarded projection TV's for more optics.

Cheaply Made
This is a VERY cheaply crafted kit. The lenses are plastic. I don't think it is going to hold up in my classroom for student use.

These are very low cost, but also pretty low quality. They do work, but everything about it is cutting corners.

GLEAVI Optical Experiment Kit - Ideal for Teaching Basic Optics
If you are teaching optics on a basic level, this kit is fantastic. The three lasers, more or less aligned, clearly demonstrate the variations through different lenses, making the concepts of refraction and reflection very obvious. It includes a chromed part that effectively shows the difference between reflection and refraction. The kit is well thought out, compact, and perfect for use with an overhead projector. For anyone teaching the basics of optics, this is a great kit. I highly recommend it.
